REDCAMP Fleece Sleeping Bag Liner for Adult Warm or Cold Weather 75 Long Full Sized Zipper Camping Blanket

I bought the grey liner (2 of them actually) to use on a Boy Scout camp outing in the month of November in the rainy Pacific Northwest. They were PERFECT for what we needed. I feel the price was very reasonable. I put mine in a 30 degree sleeping bag and did not get cold once (I didn't overtemp either!). My 13 year old son put his in his sub zero mummy bag and was happy as well. They aren't designed for a mummy bag so we expected it to be bunched up at the bottom but he said it didn't bother him. We were sleeping in open air cabins. I was in fleece pajamas with socks (like always this time of year) and my son was in just his underwear and a long sleeve teeshirt. The zippers seem sturdy and not to flimsy. The material was soft and didn't pill up although I haven't washed or dried them yet. Came in a plastic drawstring close carrying bag that can be strapped to your back pack or put inside the pack (we did both). Not sure how water proof that bag would be for an extended period in the rain but the liner stayed dry getting it from the car to the campsite, a decent ways away, in light rain. I would think that if you were super cold you could use it as a blanket inside your sleeping bag sleeping under it (2 layers of warmth) rather than in it. I don't camping at all but I travel a lot. I stay in hotel more than staying at my home. This will work wonder for me in winter. I always left freezing cold in hotel room in winter because most of the place only set maximum heater at 78f which is never enough for me. I always have to use hair dryer to warm myself up. It's really keep me warm, better than a big wide blanket. I will also use it if I have to stay overnight at the airport. Just perfect but the zipper kind of unrevealing in the morning. I don't know how to lock it in. Another downside is color choice is not fun. You should make pastel pink, purple or green. Read more

I didn’t know this was even a thing but I do now and I love it. It provides a little protection to my sleeping bag from my body so I can wash it more often than the bag which will save the bag from over-washing. It’s also comfortable feeling and when I feel overheated I unzip the bag, open it and use the liner as a sheet. Excellent product! Read more

My sleeping bag is old, but it's a great size for me as I'm in the Big & Tall category. And while it is usually warm enough for most camping situations, my recent campout was going to be near or below freezing. The bag liner was great and worked pretty well. It fit easily into my sleeping bag and I had plenty of length. I didn't measure it to see if it was as advertised, but I'm 6'4" and it easily worked well for me. The fleece seemed to add a decent increase to the temperature rating of my bag. Enough that I was mostly comfortable. The liner easily stuffed back into the sack it came with. Zipper was easy to work and didn't snag during my outing. I felt it could have been just a bit thicker without compromising size, but it did good. It will add a few degrees more of warmth if your bag isn't as effective as you need, but it won't replace a sleeping bag and definitely shouldn't be used alone as one in cold weather. I went camping in the snow, which isn’t my favorite, but didn’t want to miss out! Have a great sleeping bag but needed that extra warm warmth. This liner is not lightweight for a backpack, but was perfect for a few miles in totally worth the weight! It snowed outside my tent. I was toasty and comfortable inside my 20° bag with this fleece liner. Read more

It is really warm but it is larger and heavier than I expected. It would take up a large portion of the 30L I have room for so I had to return it and get something smaller. If space and weight aren’t an issue it is really warm and cozy. I like the idea of a zipper but this one doesn’t stay closed. It needs to be a little stiffer. The “hood” is more of a flap. Adding a draw string would be a big improvement. Read more
