I’ve been using this Redken product for about 10 years. The quality has changed somewhat, as well as the container it comes in. It has a light to medium hold which I like, but my favorite part is that it doesn’t leave a sticky residue on your hands or your hair. It’s moldable even after you use it. If you wet your hair you can mold it again. I use this to style then finish with hairspray. My only issue is the chemical smell and that it does get watery so sometimes you have to shake it. I have fairly short straight hair, and I wanted a product to hold well without drying crunchy like gel or sprays, and not have such shine that makes it looks wet. This is a perfect mix of a nice matte finish to make it look dry with great hold. And it dissolves in water very easily. A quick rinse of your head and it pretty much disappears, if you don't have time to wash your hair. It's a bit expensive for a hair product, compared to your standard grocery store kinds of products, but a deal compared to high end products.
