I wanted to build my own keyboard, but wanted a small form with a number pad. the cheapest barebones kit that met that criteria was over $80, so I figured I'd give this a shot. I have never had/used a mechanical keyboard and didn't want to put a ton of money into it right away. I also didn't want a super loud click, I think those ones sound really annoying. I was very pleasantly surprised by the feel, quality, weight, and sound of this. I actually am able to type faster on this than my old membrane keyboard. The RGB is way better than I was expecting, it's bright, has tons of modes, and the battery is surprisingly long with it on. Connectivity hasn't been an issue either, I have the usb dongle in my computer, and the bluetooth linked to my phone so I can quickly switch between them if I have a long text to send. My brother is a mechanical keyboard snob, and he was very surprised by how quality this felt and typed. The switches are smooth and quiet enough that I don't feel a need to change them, but I like that I have that option for so little cost. I think my only criticism is that I wish the keyboard was a little wider so that the 0 key in the numpad could be a full size. I still hit the right arrow button a lot when I'm using the numpad quickly. Overall it's not too big of a deal though. Read more

I have owned several red dragon mechanical keyboards over the years, I love them for their high quality and low price, but this is by FAR my favorite keyboard so far. The keys are mint switches which I've never tried but I'll never not use again, they feel and sound absolutely amazing. When you're typing away you don't get that loud, audio spiking click like a red or blue switch, you get a solid low thud. It sounds like raindrops hitting a wood roof, you could easily sleep through it. The tactile sensation doesn't even suffer like having a membrane keyboard, it provides a nice balanced resistance force that thuds right when it bottoms out, something that's hard to describe the feel of. I cannot stand a numpad-less keyboard so the inclusion of this full sized numpad while keeping the overall size relatively small is phenomenal. The volume knob has a nice tactile feel as well. The little LCD screen is awesome, and surprisingly crisp at a low resolution thanks to its small size. A lot of keyboards have had monochrome screens in them but this one is full color and you can upload your own gifs to the app, which you'll need to download in order to customize the keys, RGB, and screen. I wish it had SignalRGB or openRGB support but unfortunately it does not. The frame is plastic, usually red dragon makes nice cheap metal frame keyboards, but it doesn't flex when you're typing on it so it's a pass for me. It can flex a little bit you need to be deliberately trying. This also makes it a little on the lighter side so it's easier to accidentally move. Note: -You might need to download the red dragon k719 software and update the firmware with it in order for the windows key (and some others) to work Read more

I am in love with this keyboard! Everything that I want in keyboard. The keys are perfectly clicky, but cushioned and muted and not too clacky. They respond well. I love that it’s Bluetooth and don’t have to mess with a cord. The lighting is quality and soft. Seems nicely diffused. It is also solid! Has good weight to it. It’s aestheticly pleasing. Love the colors. The little LED screen is an awesome bonus. Just a quality keyboard. $80 is a totally fair price and I have zero buyers remorse. 10/10 recommended. Read more

Beautiful keyboard, before I was never much of a fan of keyboards but after my recent build needing a new one I decided to grab this on sale and all i have to say is WOW 🤩 the keys are squishy AND accurate not to mention they have multiple rgb options, connection options and so many other customizable features. If I had to buy from this brand again I definitely will because the quality is A LOT better than i expected. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Sounds great! Works great. Love the look, feel, and utility. I use it both for work and my own computer, so I use the bluetooth and 2.4 modes to switch between. I have used this keyboard daily for over 2 months now, and here are my thoughts. The good: *If you use this for work, Teams does NOT pick up the sound of the keys! *It auto-sleeps after a minute or so to save battery. *One full charge usually lasts me my 40 hour work week depending on the lighting mode I use. *Easy to use, helpful user’s manual, INCREDIBLE value for an entry level, every day, nice looking mechanical keyboard. *If you upload a GIF, it does stay loaded on the keyboard itself, so if you connect to a device that doesn’t have the software, you can still use your GIF! *Easy hotkeys for switching brightness and lighting modes, and if you forget the hotkeys, the knob has a few menu options that you can change the same settings. *Switches feel really good! If you’re into gaming and need a more tactical switch you’ll have to swap them, but these work just fine for me. *Easy to pull switches. On the occasions I got a little crumb or something under the keys, I use the included key puller/switch puller to get in there if I need to. *Not bad for small hands. I’ve got pretty small hands and the keypresses and size aren’t too much for me. My personal nitpicks: *The software is less than ideal. Literally looked like I was downloading a virus. The software is NOT required, BUT is necessary if you want to upload a GIF. *The clock WILL be off, and there is no way to change it. Believe me, I’ve tried. It displays in 24h format, and consistently runs 8 minutes fast. I wish I could change it to 12h, and manually update it, but alas. *The bluetooth DOES take a moment to connect. No more than a couple seconds. It’s helpful to press a key to wake it up, then type. *The white is beautiful, but does attract lint, pet dander, dust, you name it. Same as the white shirt phenomena. When in white, you will notice things get dirtier. *If you are in a dead quiet room, you will here an extremely quiet, high pitched electrical buzz. I keep a fan for white noise and I don’t notice it. *If you have the screen set to display the gif, then the keyboard falls asleep, it will likely default back to the clock. (Unrelated: also bought my desk mat here on Amazon if you like it! It was labeled “green bean frog” something or other. Not sponsored I just like it and think they go well together!) TLDR: Love it. I have a few nitpicks but overall great keyboard and awesome value for the price. Optional software used to load GIFs needs improvement. Read more
