I've never reviewed a product before, but after all the help I received from Redragon, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to pay them back. Why I bought the mouse: My old mouse was too small for my hand, and as I was increasing the amount of time I was working or playing at my computer, I needed something better. The extra custom buttons and 5 different profiles provide increased productivity for different activities. The finger rests reduce the strain on my unused fingers, and the lighting is a nice bonus touch. The software that allows you to customize the buttons is fairly easy to use, and provides limitless possibilities for how the mouse buttons are mapped. Operating system concerns: Customizing software is only available for Windows and my computer runs Ubuntu. Not a problem though as the mouse remembers what its buttons are mapped to regardless of the system, so as long as you have access to another Windows system where you can do the customization, moving the mouse between OS systems is not an issue (note: not all functions will work on other OS systems. "COPY" and "PASTE" functions did not on Ubuntu, but mapping them as combo buttons "CTRL+C" and "CTRL+V" works on both Windows and Ubuntu). Issue I ran into: During customization, WHEEL UP started being mapped the same as WHEEL DOWN, and the profile switch button was mapped as WHEEL UP. Went through about 1.5 weeks of trouble shooting with support, trying multiple computers, reinstalling the customization software, them sending a replacement mouse, and a promise to send a refund if no solution could be reached. Eventually, the technical team released a new version of the software, and the issue was fixed. Throughout the whole process, the support team was very engaging and very on top of the issue. Final thoughts: Regardless of the issues I experienced, I would recommend this mouse to someone interested in upgrading their computer setup. For being inexpensive, you get a very nice feeling mouse, complete with customizable inputs and cool lighting effects. If not this mouse, then at least another Redragon product, as the team dedicated to working out any issues you encounter is well worth the price of their products. Read more

First of all I was surprised with the quality of this mouse for its price. It feels comfortable to use for extended periods of time ( my hand is a medium to large size hand), has some heft to it , and doesn't seem as flimsy as other wireless mice. The layout of the buttons on the mouse are well placed overall with an exception to the front left mouse button that seems to be placed slightly too much forward . (although this may differ depending on your hand size). Battery life is good and gets me thru a days worth of use without having to recharge. The Red dragon software for this mouse feels well made, intuitive and has the awesome feature of creating macros and reassigning the extra buttons on the mouse. Aesthetically speaking the mouse looks sleek and gives you good control on the lighting pattern of the mouse that ranges from full on RGB mode to a cool breathing effect. The only bad thing about this mouse is the slot on the bottom of the mouse for storing the USB dongle. It felt a bit loose and is not flush with the bottom surface of the mouse making it susceptible to being lost. Perhaps in the next version this issue could be addressed. Overall, I'd say this mouse is a great choice for anybody looking for an inexpensive wireless mouse for their work or gaming setups. First off, i purchased this in 2021, so i can speak for the longevity of this mouse. Most of the people i game with use these expensive name brands, and shun brands that have affordable quality like Red D. One thing I like is the option to save battery life by switching the RGB off. Also, the DPI options are nice and helpful in a pinch. the mouse is ergonomic enough, it feels nice and in your hand, although after having it for a while i may have just gotten used to it. The programming is the only downside to this product. I think the setup for custom colors in the RGB menu was kind of bad, so if that is what you like then this may be your only obstacle. I can say that the programming of the buttons was pretty easy, however, so if you use it for functionality over fashion, like me, then you will enjoy this with no downsides. Its a good mouse, performance is fine and movement is fine, and no issues with connectivity. Nothing bad stands out, in terms of performance, to a gamer who plays alot of FPS games. only issue with this mouse is that theres no auto shut off fuction. On the "Eco" mode, it doesnt shut off but only illuminates the scroll wheel. You have to turn it off manually. (Which of course I always forget) Would recommend this mouse as an inexpensive mouse option, especially if your on a budget. Read more

I purchased the M686 hoping to find a wireless gaming mouse that feels right in my bigger hands. After several days of using it, I have to say it does so beautifully. It looks and feels well-made, and in tandem with the fancy (to me) RGB lighting options, the overall package is a mouse that looks and feels more expensive than it is. It feels good in hand, with sculpted rests for the thumb and ring/pinkie fingers. I would advise anyone with smaller hands to look elsewhere, though, as the mouse is certainly sized large. One small quibble is that the battery life is not the greatest when running in normal mode with lighting on, but that can pretty easily be turned off to extend battery time. I'm able to get several hours on a full charge, and have found myself just charging it when done for the day. Overall a great mouse that comes in at a quality above its price range, and I'd advise anyone with bigger hands to consider this one. Read more
