Really excited to get this set for my laptop. I am on the road alot and get to set up in hotels playing on my laptop. needed something neat and smaller to fit in my laptop bag. After days of searching found this set. Love that the usb works for both keyboard and mouse. Love the lights on both, love that they seem to last forever. The ONLY problem I have is the mouse now is nearly unusable, I thought it would work itself out, but seems to have not. The wheel on the mouse doesn't work like it should, when scrolling it stutters really bad, when trying to game on diablo 4, with the scroll wheel you can zoom in and out, its impossible, it stutters, goes really fast, you scroll one way goes the opposite way. Really bummed about it, guess I am going to have to try another company's product. I have tried turning it off and on, unplugging the USB dongle, I've tried everything, just can't seem to get the scroll wheel to work. Other than that the mouse works, I just have been dealing with it, trying not to use the scroll options. I've tried to get help from amazon to no success. All I want is a mouse that works. Can't seem to get a refund or maybe a replacement, amazon makes it nearly impossible to contact support. So not sure what I am to do. *********** Edit: Since my review, the company has reached out and fixed my issue immediately. Sent me a new mouse and it's works flawlessly. If you're looking for a mechanical keyboard that won't break the bank but feels and looks premium, the RedThunder K84 is a gem. I bought it specifically for its 80% (TKL) design, which gives me so much more desk space for my mouse movements—and I don't regret it! The typing feel is incredibly tactile and satisfying. The switches respond instantly, making it perfect for both my long work sessions and late-night gaming. If I could less than 1 star I would. Returning this as both the keyboard and mouse had issues straight out of the box. Keyboard would turn off and loose connection when typing or playing FPS games. Mouse would randomly loose its spot and cursor would skip around the screen as such when playing a game the same would happen. The weight of these is, well, get what you pay for I guess. Also warning, this is NOT a mechanical keyboard even if they lead you to believe it is. These are membrane keys and feel so squishy and terrible. The media could not be loaded. Is it the nice keyboard you'll ever mess with? No. Does it light up with RGB as advertised? Yes. I would have preferred a RGB keyboard that had a rotating color scheme and not just light up but beggars can't be choosers. The keyboard lights go off during non use but quickly come back on. The mouse feels super cheap and the keyboard buttons aren't as snappy as a mechanical keyboard. It has quiet typing noise and there's no input delay or lag when gaming. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten a bigger keyboard and not a gaming one but can't complain. Overall, it lights up on the keyboard and the mouse does have a rotating color of RGB. For the price, can't really complain or ask for more. I see other reviews mention how the product stops working after a while but I can't comment on this since it's a new product for me. Edit: Dropped it a star because after some time with it, it is clear that it might be best to spend more money and get a quality mouse and keyboard. The keyboard isn't that bad but the mouse will jerk out of nowhere sometimes. It isn't often but it's enough to be annoying, specifically in gaming. Not a bad product but definitely has its quirks. SO comfy and beautiful!! Been loving the mouse and the keyboard for about a month now its so smooth and soft to the touch almosT!! its that cool! I did unfortunately need to return it, 2 keys weren't working, but RedThunder customer service completely went above and beyond in helping me fix my issue and I'm super duper happy now with my new gaming keyboard and mouse woot woot woot!!! This Keyboard and mouse were great, until recently the mouse simply stopped working. Purchased 7 months ago. I purchased this set for my son, he uses them with his gaming console. I tried all the suggested troubleshooting but nothing has worked. The keyboard still works fine. The mouse won’t charge, won’t reset or reconnect or turn on. I have emailed the RedThunder company directly, as their website says the product has a one year warranty. Hoping to hear back from them soon. Read more
