ordered this reed diffuser for a small bathroom shelf, and it turned out to be even prettier than I expected. The vintage-style square bottle with the tulip flowers is really elegant, and I especially love the subtle glitter effect in the liquid. It catches the light just enough to give it a little sparkle without looking over the top. It honestly doubles as a decorative piece on the shelf. The fragrance is soft, clean, and floral. What really surprised me is that it actually permeates the whole bathroom, which hasn’t always been the case with other diffusers I’ve purchased. Many reed diffusers tend to be very faint unless you’re standing right next to them, but this one distributes the scent throughout the room nicely without being overwhelming. Setup was simple—just insert the reeds and let them absorb the oil. Within a few hours the fragrance started to diffuse well. The bottle holds 6.76 oz and is designed to last up to 120 days, which is great for a diffuser of this size. I also like the narrow bottle design, which makes it perfect for smaller spaces like bathrooms, shelves, or an office desk where you don’t have a lot of room. The fact that this diffuser actually does permeate fragrance throughout my half bathroom downstairs (not to mention the fabulous gold glitter), I think it is an excellent value for the current price point. It is priced similar to other diffusers, but this diffuser set truly does keep my bathroom smelling like flowers! Lovely presentation and beautiful scent that is floral and clean but not overwhelming. It says it smells like tulips but tulips rarely have any smell to me so I wouldn't go with that. But it is a nice fragrance that isn't too floral that it would prompt my college son to say something like "it smells like a funeral home in here". In addition to the lovely smell, there is a visual aspect to it. The scented oil contains a large quantity of what I assume is micro-fine gold glitter. When shaken or stirred it swirls beautifully into a glistening storm of gold shimmer. Very lovely and interesting to look at. The bottle itself comes well sealed with an inner stopper held down with an outer gold metal rim that can be twisted off to remove the stopper and use the product. If you are planning on using it in a guest bath or bedroom or somewhere just for "company". you can keep that stopper and replace it between guests to conserve your precious oil until your next visitors. No sense wasting it on an unused room, right? It comes with two sets of sticks which actually allow you to control the amount of scent disbursed. More sticks equals more scent and faster oil usage. Fewer sticks prolong the experience but at a lower fragrance concentration. Yeah, I went for lots of sticks because I love a good smell and this is one. This is an attractive setup, with a nice bottle and the actual scented liquid having a kind of pearlized gold appearance (vs. just the typical clear liquid), plus two sets of black reeds. The extra set is a nice touch! It's also a very large bottle, and because it was so plentiful I actually ended up pouring about 1/3 of it into another diffuser that was empty, so I feel like I've gotten great value out of it! It also has a nice scent that fills the whole room quite well. It's a scent that, for me, is very reminiscent of a room spray I used years ago when I was living in a particularly musty home, so unfortunately it has a *mildly* unpleasant scent association (It was room spray you could get at the grocery store for less than $5). However, I don't want to ding it too much for that, because the scent itself really is nice. (As long as you don't know it's the same scent as the $5 grocery store option, lol!) I think it will last a good long while, because it is a hefty portion. I do appreciate the extra reeds, too, and think that will extend the life of this set -- or I can use them in another diffuser later. Overall, a good value! Just be aware that, depending on your history of using room sprays, this one may not feel like a 5-star hotel. Despite that, I do still recommend it. Read more
With some stars aligning in my life, I was able to buy this right before I was expecting my family to come in from out of state to visit. I was able to hear my family’s reaction as an outside view. Bottom line, we all totally love it. I decided to put this in the bathroom to keep it away from other scents I have going in my condo. This ended up matching decor as well. My entire place is coastal beach. The scent of this smells really good. Just like nice flowers. It lasts, and has a great throw carrying it slightly out of the room. My grandma loved the smell so much she went in randomly just to smell it again. The design is great. It is small so it fits right on the back of the toilet perfect. It looks like glitter is inside the bottle too. Everyone loves glitter! Although I am keeping this for myself, this would make a great gift as well. I really liked the seals around the top when opening to make sure everything inside the bottle stays there. You can take the reeds out and seal it up when not needed to make the bottle last longer. That adds to the value to me and will obviously extend the life of the product. You also get two sets of reeds. Overall, functions perfectly and I like this a lot. I would not hesitate to get one of these again to keep impressing my family. Highly recommend! Read more
