This shirt was a pleasant surprise in terms of fit and overall look. Right out of the package, it feels well made—the yarn-dyed woven jacquard fabric has a nice texture and depth that looks more elevated than a typical casual short-sleeve shirt. The camp-style silhouette fits especially well. It drapes cleanly through the shoulders and chest without feeling boxy, and it has a relaxed but intentional shape that works just as well worn untucked as it does styled a bit cleaner. It’s comfortable without looking sloppy. Details are subtle but thoughtful. The patch pocket on the left chest sits flat and adds visual interest without bulking the shirt out. The small Reef clip label and side-seam flag label are understated and don’t distract from the overall design. What stands out most is how easy this shirt is to wear. It looks good on its own, pairs easily with shorts or jeans, and feels appropriate for everything from casual outings to laid-back evenings. If you’re looking for a good-fitting, attractive shirt with a bit more character than a basic button-up, this one delivers. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’m a sucker for a well-done short-sleeve collared shirt, and this one checks the box immediately. The construction feels solid the moment you put it on. Stitching is clean, seams are straight, and I didn’t spot any loose threads or weird inconsistencies. That matters to me more than branding or hype. It signals care in how it’s made, not just how it’s marketed. Fits well. What really surprised me is the texture. It’s subtle but intentional, and you feel it most across the shoulders and upper back. It adds character without drifting into “trying too hard” territory. The fabric has presence, but it still breathes and moves well. It feels comfortable standing, sitting, or moving around all day, which is exactly what I want from a shirt like this. And then there’s the real test. My wife noticed it immediately—and liked it. That’s the win condition. If I can put on a shirt, feel good wearing it, and get an unsolicited thumbs-up from her, the job’s done. At that point, I don’t need a second opinion. Read more

This felt comfortable the moment I put it on, with a lightweight fabric that breathes well and doesn’t feel stiff or boxy. The short sleeves and relaxed cut make it ideal for warm days, and the single chest pocket adds a bit of casual detail without overdoing it. I liked how it looks put together enough for dinner or a casual outing, but still laid-back enough for weekends or vacation wear. The fabric drapes nicely and stayed comfortable through a full day without feeling clingy or restrictive. Fit was true to size for me, with good room through the shoulders and chest. It also held up well after washing, keeping its shape without needing much effort. One small downside is that the fabric can wrinkle a bit if it sits in the dryer too long, so taking it out promptly helps. This is a great option for anyone who wants an easy, versatile shirt that works from beach days to casual nights out. It’s comfortable, simple, and the kind of piece I reach for when I want to look relaxed but still pulled together. Read more

Got in 2XL, I’m sometimes on the border of how well a 2XL fits these days, but this one buttoned up comfortably and I didn’t feel like I was tight in it. Comfortable shirt and a nice khaki color. I’m working on losing weight so this might end up being a work shirt for me at the office; it’s good enough quality, assuming it holds up long term. It might end up being cooler here in Florida in the warmer months. Shirt is a 50/50 blend in fabric materials and is Made in China. Edit: docked a point because after I washed and dried this, it has a million wrinkles and the collar and sleeves are all wrinkled and creased. You can’t use the collar very well at all. This would almost vertically need to be ironed, which is tedious. Read more

I'm very pleased with this Reef button-down shirt. I got it as a gift for my uncle who wears men's XL and it was a great fit for his size. The material is of great quality that is soft to the touch and didn't require a bunch of fine-tuning with nail clippers to get rid of a ton of stray strands like most cheap brands. After a quick cycle in the low-heat dryer the shirt was ready to wear. Read more
