Originally saw this style, in purple from Reef, in a shop and they had a size 10 or a size 8... which I wasn't sure if I should get because normally I'm a 9/9.5 (women's / slightly wider foot) and the 10 felt so comfy, but apparently people typically go down a shoe size when it comes to sandals/flip flops. The thing that made me hesitant with buying this product at first was that it said "9M US" which I understood to be a 9 in men's sizes... however I took the chance, and they are a perfect fit! I've had them for about 2-3 weeks... with frequent use and have had no foot irritations from the size. The first day or two I felt a bit of rubbing, but I was just wearing them a bit to get use to/stretch out before a walk down the block. Again no visible marks or blisters during or after use. They have since become relaxed and great for all day wear, with arch support & super comfy heel support. Tempted to buy another pair in a different colour as I have had good luck with my last pair of Reef flip flops (received as a birthday gift, and lasted about 10 years up until replacing them with these), so I guess you could say I'd highly recommend them (if you need/want a sporty looking pair of flip flops)! I had my previous pair of fannings for 15+ years. I wore them on a 6 week trip across Europe and logged an uncountable number of miles in them at home. If it wasn’t for the fact the sole had begun to wear down after so many years of wear on asphalt, dirt, gravel, sand, I’d probably not even think about upgrading. The strap still held my foot perfectly. And, like a good slippah, the whole thing was molded to my foot. Reef has done it right, by not changing a good thing—if it ain’t broke (because it’s just right) don’t fix it! I like the sandals. The soles are comfortable to walk in. However, in between the toes hurt… very uncomfortable. Maybe Reef can address this issue. I wear a size 7.5 shoe. These sandals are size 8. I really like them but in between toes very painful. Read more

My fiance has been trying to get me to buy some reefs for over a year and I finally found this pair at a good price so I decided to try it. As you can see from the pictures I actually have pretty high arches and as such I normally don't need a lot of arch support. However, since moving into our new apartment that has all hardwood floors I have started to suffer from really bad heel pain. After purchasing these I wear these all day long in the apartment and my feet hurt so much less at the end of the day when I take them off. If I do not wear these and I walk around barefoot or wear a different brand of shoes my feet and heels are in excruciating pain by the end of the day where I am on the verge of tears. I can honestly say that I'm glad that I went with the Reefs for the heel pain that I have been suffering from and I will continue to purchase the reefs. You will not regret purchasing these flip-flops if you suffer from heel pain. These fit true to size women's size 9 they have a little bit of room in them if you wear an 8 1/2 the 9 might be a little big. The only con to this pair of shoes at all is as you can see in one of the pictures the Reef logo has started to come off after only one day of where it was already almost all the way off. I'm not sure why the men's Reef logo is just inside the rubber but the women's Reef logo is in the Rubber and then has a white coating on top and the white coating comes off. That flaw however does not affect the performance or the look of the shoe so I didn't take any off for that. This is a quality shoe that should last quite a while. Read more
