I'll join the lemming hordes - I cannot rave enough about these pants! I got the charcoal color, wore them to work today for the first time, and they are winners in every category. 1) They don't stretch out. 2) They don't give me diaper bum after 8 hours of sitting. 3) They are body skimming, NOT tight. 4) The ankles aren't super tight on me (not like the model), making them look more like real pants and less like leggings. The *only* possible drawback would be, that they don't look quite right with booties for this reason, since booties really call for a tighter ankle. But these are perfection with ballet flats or loafers. I plan on buying many more pairs and telling everyone about them! For reference, I'm 130lbs and 5'6"; and a 6 is perfect. A size 4 would have still fit, but been a lot more legging-like. **UPDATE** I no longer love these pants with the fervor I once did. Two things that bother me: 1) They bunch up at the back of the legs. Not sure why this is, but no matter what size I get, the fabric doesn't lay straight. It's like I'm wearing scrunchies on my legs. 2) No matter what size I get, they don't seem to get any bigger. I thought I'd size up so that they wouldn't bunch and would be less sausage-casing-ish. I work in a new office now and need to dress more professionally, and these pants are a bit too legging-like. I just don't feel comfortable wearing them unless I have a shirt that covers my bum (otherwise, I might as well be wearing leggings). So I had the genius idea to size up a few sizes, and perhaps then they would be a bit looser fitting and I could wear them with tuckable shirts. Nope. Size 8 fits exactly the same as size 4. Still leggings. Someday, I might take my chances with a size 12, but my ego is smarting a bit by now. Read more
I LOVE these pants and this brand. They are my go to work pants (office job). They are cute, comfortable, flattering, and made out of a great material that doesn't wear out easily or fade. Fit is as expected. Read more
I'm 5'5" and weigh between 115-120. I usually wear a size 2, and in some brands a size 4. Size usually 4 fits ok but gets saggy in the derriere after a few wears. With all my other pants, this is easily remedied by washing/heat drying. I'm a mommy who sits at a desk all day long and prefers eating ice cream to working out. My tiny Asian mother blessed me with a thin build but I still have all the imperfections that come with parenthood and it being the hiking off season aka the dreaded winter of the PNW. These pants definitely do a great job of hiding all flaws...self-consciousness be gone! However, the size 2 wasn't available so I thought... what the heck, perhaps the size 4 will shrink a little after drying. After reading so many reviews, I'm going to try a low heat setting then air dry as I don't want to destroy the fabric by overheating. When I first put them on, the shape was weird around my waist. They're a thick, stretchy fabric with a very light sheen, and they don't feel at all like those ultra soft jeggings (which is precisely what I was looking for). Perfect for wearing to work and true to color (really dark charcoal gray). They pull on with no button/zipper, yet have two full sized pockets up front. Without a shirt tucked in, the shape at the waist is baggy... Seems they are shaped to accommodate working up and around larger hips. Kinda bugged me at first, but I got over it. With a shirt tucked in, looks very professional and cute. The length at the ankle is a bit longer than I'd like, but I can live with it. Will definitely order the shorter pants next. These sit just halfway through my belly button and hips... SUPER COMFY! No plumber's butt (I'm not 21 anymore) and not overly high waisted. Doesn't ride up in unwanted places. I did notice a weird part in the stitching on the rear though... It's a bit shinier there and almost looks like it's coming apart. I did a minor stretch test and the threads are holding tight... Just SHINY in that spot. Even with my little complaints (borderline neurotic/OCD when it comes to clothing) I do like these pants and will try other colors, but definitely going with my usual size 2 next time around. Hope this helps! Read more
The best, the best, the best although they don’t have back pockets, the front pockets are perfect. The waist is excellent. Finally found a pair that are not high-waist. I’ve been searching for the perfect pair and I finally found them. I will be ordering them again and all colors. Read more
I wear a size 8 in most pants right now. I'm 40" in my thighs, 30" in my waist. I am 5'5. The fit is pretty spot on for the size 8 pants. They are not too tight or loose anywhere when putting them on. If I pull them up to where the waist is supposed to sit, there is a little more of a gap in the ankle area which tells me these would be a bit short for tall humans. The material is a bit nicer for a 30$ pair of polyester pants. I don't get any pills and minimal fluff/fur sticking to the material. The material is a tight weave so it looks like dress pant material. There are two front pockets with zippers and no back pockets. It does tend to get bunch lines on the legs when I walk because the fabric is not flexible enough. That being said, they are comfortable everywhere except for the waist. It is a fixed waist and when I sit, the pant pulls down and stretches the waist. It is a little uncomfortable because the part of the waist that is supposed to be at the belly button gets pulled down and kinda pushed into the stomach. It's also a little tough to get them pulled up over my thighs. The pants are a little stretchy but not THAT stretchy. Lol. Other than that, they are ok pants. I mostly wanted to get by with something less costly for a while and this works pretty well for that cause. I don't think I'd buy them again. Read more
