Love this hair dryer! I had another Remington very similar to this that lasted many, many years and I was so afraid I could not find another one. As like the one I had before, I love the compact size of this one because it is easy to travel with and store and it is powerful to be as small as it is. My favorite thing about it is that the size of the blower part is short because with the longer nozzles on other dryers, I have actually hit myself in the head with some of them while using the dryer to dry my hair. Also as someone in their 70's, I appreciate how much lighter weight these dryers are and very reasonably priced. Read more

Small, lightweight and powerful! Handle is straight and it makes it comfortable to hold, plus it's easy to adjust speed/setting with my thumb. 3 heat settings (high is a bit too hot but the 2 lower heats are good) and 2 speeds (lower and a good powerful higher). It does not come with any attachments. I had one of these for years but it finally died on me, so I had to get another right away because I like it that much. This is a slightly used one from Amazon resale but it looks and performs like new. Hope they don't discontinue these but maybe I'll buy another just in case! This compact dryer is a great value. It is quality made and very versatile. It has two speeds and the heated air it blows out is more than adequate. I like the fact that the outer surface does not get hot so you can handle it quite well when it is blowing air. This dryer is great for traveling or fitting in small spaces. The only disadvantage is that the cord does not retract into the unit but that does not bother me at all. I definitely recommend this dryer and would buy another one. Read more

This is a very powerful blow dryer compared to the 20 year old junker it replaced, however I had hoped after twenty years this would be lighter and smaller. It’s not. My hair is extremely short and this dries my hair so fast I only have a minute to work with it. No choice of color, I ended up with red, and it’s not the red pictured. Works great. Just too large and heavy to qualify as compact. I wish I had looked for a child’s blow dryer, as my hair is extremely fine and thin. Good quality. Nice settings, with a cool setting. But Hot is much too hot. Might work great on thick long hair. Read more

I have been using this product for years. What I love about it is that it's small and light weight, it has two separate controls one for air and one for heat so you can personalize what ever combination you want. If you want low heat and high air, or high heat and medium air, or just plain air no problem. It's also great for travel. The only problem is it's hard to find, but so worth the effort. I always buy 2 so when it wears out I always have a back up until I can purchase another one. I highly recommend this little dryer. Only have had it for 1 month, but I love the eco settings on this dryer -- the settings make it easy to control the unit (and much better than the "cool shot" button system I've had on other dryers). There are separate switches/settings for fan and heat. With the eco settings you still have enough heat and air volume, without feeling like your hair is being scorched or that it's too weak/cold. However, it does NOT have a 120/240v toggle - sorry international travelers! I could have taken off a star for this, but I am just liking it overall too much (so far). ******** 10 months now, and still going strong. Still love the 3 heat and 2-speed fan settings. Read more
