I really like the Remington Ladies Electric Shaver. I've used it for several weeks and find it gives a close cut of both my underarms and legs. Being a mature lady, I found that after hand surgery for joint replacement that got rid of the pain tha I have lost the ability to hold objects tightly so the hand razor in the shower just dien't work for me. This is a perfect solution, no chance of nicks; it gives a smooth close cut and really works better than a razor. The price was great too. Read more

I've had problems razor on my skin and always hated when I would cut my leg up from using normal disposable razors. I had one similar to this one before and it had stopped working after a month of use, but that's probably because I got it from Dollar General. I've had it for a few weeks and so far I'm really liking it. It hasn't caused me any scratches or cuts and I don't get that "white scrape" on my skin from when I used normal disposable razors. If you're in need of ditching regular razors, then I would say give this one a try. The only thing that actually bothers me is that it slips out of my hand sometimes, but that's probably because of the water. That doesn't really have a solution aside from the company that makes these maybe adding a grip so it doesn't slip out of your hand when you're using it in the shower. Read more

Does the job and works pretty well. Cuts close, low, and safely. Works in the shower. Easily pack for trips.. But, I replace it a few times per year. Not bad for the price in comparison to buying razors Read more

I’ve already tried the less expensive brands of shaver but they were irritating. Even with all the different head options, each one needed several passes to work. Returned to the best American name in shavers, and this Remington is excellent. A bikini shave is always tricky - you want a “close” shave without nicking yourself or feeling irritation later. This small shaver does the trick. Read more

I bought this because I have very delicate skin and I was looking for a small everyday razor that wouldn't harm me. It's not an everyday razor. First of all it's not shower safe. Will it shock you if you get it wet? No. Will it continue to work after a couple of showers? Also No. It's not sealed so water gets in the motor and poof dead razor. So it's definitely not good for wet shaves. Second of all it kills batteries. If you've got dark, thick leg hair 2 AAA batteries are going to work for 1 shave. Meaning if you need to shave everyday (as many people do with dark hair) you will go through a fortune in batteries. The Energizer Bunny will love you, your wallet will not. Third it doesn't handle armpits well for anybody. Doesn't matter if your big or small for some reason it doesn't easily work in an armpit. You'll spend 15 minutes trying to shave 1 armpit only to discover you've still missed hair while standing in your bathroom looking in the mirror. A major positivity is it's not going to cut you. If you manage to injure yourself using this razor I'm not sure you should be allowed child safe scissors because it doesn't cut or pinch or even tug on the hair or skin. If you're looking for something to teach a kid how to shave or if you've got a disabled friend/relative this is a VERY safe razor. You'd have to be trying very hard to harm yourself and even then I'm not sure you'd succeed. I think the razor would win with it's determination not to cut you. It's small, it's quiet, it's fantastic for taking on a trip but it's not an everyday razor for your average person. Read more

I love these little guys. And they last so much longer than the more expensive ones. My puppy chewed my last one so I went back to Ross to see if there was another I could grab. My legs were screaming abuse at me and asking me how the sun could tan my legs if they got no air!!!! Anyway, there wasn't so I grabbed one from Amazon. You just twist of the little metal dohicky at the bottom and throw in a couple of triple A batteries and you are off and running. Because I have sensitive skin I am always a little hesitant because metals can trigger a reaction. The metal on this one doesn't hurt my skin at all. And seriously this little guy just cuts those little suckers right off my legs and arm pits and leave them nice and silky. It's so compact too and user friendly on your hands. Not big and bothersome like my X BF....lol. Read more

Works well for price. Have to go over repeatedly and sometimes it misses some. Good starter or travel shaver. Read more
