Super simple thermometer that just works. The display is clear, easy to read at a glance, and seems accurate when compared to other thermometers in the tank. I like that it’s small and doesn’t distract from the setup. The removable design is nice for cleaning or repositioning, and it’s been consistent so far with no weird fluctuations. For the price, it’s exactly what you want. No complaints. Would definitely buy again. Read more

I really appreciate the stylish design of this thermometer. It sits almost flush with the tank and doesn’t stand out too much, which is great for maintaining a clean look. I also like that it automatically turns off after a few seconds, so there isn’t a constant light shining. My only concern is that it might be a degree or two off since it reads through the glass instead of being in the water. I have a heater with a built-in thermometer, and the two never quite agree. It works, and it looks great. This is a quality thermometer that is easy to read. It was accurate in two different settings when compared with my infrared. It looks and feels durable. It comes with mounting tape. Read more
It is smaller than it looks and is off by 2.5 degrees. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This was really simple to get going. The screw is pretty tiny and was a bit tricky to unscrew because of that, but it was minor enough I'm forgetting any details now that it's been a few days. I really like the clean, simple look. I have it on the upper side of the tank, where it is quite flat -- it's a small tank that is shaped like a D, so that keeps it out of the way. I justs got a heater with a thermometer that is on the other side of the tank. There is a small difference between the two sides, but I don't know what to believe. That said, the OTHER meter changes constantly (I just watched it go from 79.1 to 79.8 and back within maybe 30 seconds). During that time, this device stayed showing a constant 78.8. It's all in a good range for the fish, but I'm guessing this device is better because at least it's consistent. The gauge is simple yet attractive. I like the fact that the screen doesn't stay lit up, which would waste the battery and create more of a distraction from the tank. That said, when it's lit, it has large numbers that are easy to read. I 'm really glad I got this simple tool to show me that the reason my little betta was going less active was because he was cold. Now that I'm doing a better job with the temperature, he is more active and seems more content. If you don't have a heater, you need one. And if it doesn't tell you the temp (and even if it does, since mine is clearly a little wonky), it's a good idea to have this little device to verify where things are. I feel more at easy with two measurements. I actually like that it's through the glass. There are a lot of issues with having electronics underwater. This avoids them and should still be quite accurate. Good tool. Read more
I got it and it completely broke Read more
This is easy to use. The thermometer comes with a detachable backing that sticks to the aquarium, basic instructions (it does not tell you how to change the degrees), and a screwdriver. It already comes with batteries. When you first get it, it's set to Celsius. To change to Fahrenheit just hold the power button down for a few seconds until it changes. It's about 2" around, so it's big enough that you can see the numbers but small enough that it doesn't detract from the aquarium. I have other thermometers that pretty much work and look the same. What makes this one different is that it's a very dark blue and shaped like a water drop. I thought it was cute addition to its style. It functions great. Despite being on the outside of the aquarium (this does not go on the inside) it's pretty spot on with the temperature. The tank pictured has a manual thermometer on the same side and a digital one on the opposite side, so all of the temperatures match. Read more
