No cold air, just.
Took a chance on a "renewed". Well, it does not blow cold air. No sound of the compressor working. No heat coming out of the back hose (there should be). VERY disappointed. Now I have to rebox this up and drive it to UPS. This box is huge. What a hassle. I will NEVER take a chance on renewed again. I don't blame toshiba. I have 3 other units that work awesome. That's why I bought this one. Urg. Read more

Does the job.
We bought a refurbished unit trusting that Amazon would deliver a good product. It arrived somewhat banged up, cover scuffed and one of the cover screws broken off. The AC unit is quite heavy. It appears that the fan speed only works on "Hi". But after going through a heat wave the unit did exactly what it was supposed to do, cool the room, so we decided to keep it. Read more
