I've been looking for the "right" iron to replenish my children's deficiencies for a long time. Iron carbonate is the mildest form of iron for children's gastrointestinal systems. It's great that it contains vitamin C for better absorption of iron by the body. Children enjoy taking this supplement, as they love the orange flavor and the small size of the tablet, which is easy to swallow. The tablets do not stain the teeth. Amazing product! My daughter used to have to take iron and vitamin C supplements separately, which added up to almost four pills a day. For a 12-year-old, that was a big ask! Have dealt with lower levels of ferritin for quite awhile for our child, after several weeks of use consistent use there was night and day differences in sleep, anxiety and RLS. It clearly is well absorbed and the flavor is good enough for a picky eater. Read more
