This is a great tank for working out or wearing out. It's very versatile and pairs well with almost anything - athletic shorts, skirt (mini through maxi), jeans, yoga pants or leggings. The black is a true black. The material is double lined, thick and not at all see-through. Did I mention that it's buttery soft and smooth? Feels great against the skin. It's very stretchy and provides compression around the mid-section. You can wear it with or without a bra, depending on your preference. It fits well and hugs the body. The length is long enough to cover the mid-section but not much to spare. The v-neck is flattering but not overly revealing. I got this for my college-aged daughter who likes it. She's in between a small and medium; I ordered a medium and she would have preferred the small. It fit well but wasn't as form fitting as she'd like. This red shirt fits perfectly and is very comfortable to wear. It fits nicely around the bust, and I do not need to wear a bra with it, which is a huge plus for me. It looks great paired with wide-leg jeans, but it also works well with leggings for a more casual look like running errands or going for a walk. This is a great, compressive tank top! The material is thick, buttery-soft, and very stretchy. I measure 45(34m) inches in the bust, 32 inches in the waist, and I got this in a size L. This tank does run true to size, but it’s very tight. The fabric is almost compressive, and really nips in my waist. It doesn’t compress my bust, instead it kind of lifts everything up, making my chest look perkier. The straps are very comfortable, soft, stretchy, and don’t put a lot of weight on my shoulders. I get a lot of cleavage in this top, especially with the V neckline. The thick fabric makes this very forgiving in the midsection, though I can see bra lines through the top of the shirt. When I have the shirt stretched out all the way, it comes to just below my belly button, but as I move around it naturally comes to just above it. This baby is thick - like this material is no joke, the double lines fabric truly holds up and makes this feel like excellent quality. It’s somewhere in between a really nice tank top and an athletic workout top because of how thick yet still soft it is. I am 57, 110 pounds, extra small. I ordered a small in this and it fits perfectly. So I would say size up if anything, just based on how thick the fabric is and how it holds you in.
