Purchased two of REPs kettlebells, only one was delivered. Waited for Amazon to update tracking history for the other and After waiting a week I contacted the seller (REP team) and even tho they tracked my package as delivered they sent me a replacement for my missing kettlebell. So Awesome. Great product and customer service. Highest quality in feel and durability, perfect distance in handle grip, not too thick. Flat surface bottom that rests evenly. I have been using Dragondoor kettlebells for several years. They have a great fit and finish with a nice thick handle and good build quality. I moved and there is a gym room at the new place. I didn’t want to take my personal kettlebells there so I ordered one of these Rep kettlebells. I have used it a few times already and it has a beautiful appearance with great feel and the paint coating is a good mix of grip and smoothness. The bottom is perfectly flat and would be useful for push-ups or stability. The color coded bands are a good idea, and the stamp of the pounds/kilos is very clear. It seems to be a good balance of quality for price. The Dragon door kettle bells can be quite pricey and then you have to pay shipping. I ordered a 16 kg and I plan to order a 20 kg as well. If I had one gripe about these kettlebells, though, it’s that the handle is not thick enough. Kettlebells with a thicker grip also build your grip strength. ** If the Rep team reads these comments, I’d recommend that they increase the thickness of the kettlebell grip by at least half an inch, or whatever is the same as Dragondoor. The thicker grip also helps with stability and forearm strength. It also makes doing inverted work like “bottoms up” presses better and more stable So overall, these have a great fit and finish as well as function. REP has some of the best kettlebells on the market! Quality, feel, coating, balanced weight, handle design and size, and the durability really does make a difference in the KB game, don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on REP’s KB’s. Added bonus is they are cheap when you compare them to brands like KBK, rogue, onnit, titan, SoCal, and bells of steel just to name a few that I own or have used in recent years, so that’s saying a lot! On my recent purchase I had to contact REP customer service and they went above and beyond my expectation, even though it was a tiny issue, honestly it was petty on my part, but they definitely hooked me up! This is a pretty nice kettlebell. I've only had the KB for about a week but it seems like it is going to last a lifetime. The casting seems to be high quality and the finish seems quite adequate. There are a couple rough spots where the colored bands meet the rest of the finish but I think a little sand paper/ general use will smooth them out. I think the color is applied first then masked off leaving a crisp edge where the masking was, I don't believe it is actually a sharp edge in the casting. I've used no name KB's at the crossfit box in the past as well as Rogue fitness and these Rep fitness KB's seem to fall somewhere just below the quality of the Rogue units. There are minor blemishes in the casting that you wouldn't find in the Rogue units but overall I think this is a great quality level for the price. I would definitely buy this product again and will likely be purchasing more weights in the future for both my fiance and myself. Read more
