The REPEL Windproof Travel Umbrella has easily become my favorite umbrella I’ve ever owned. It does exactly what it promises—stands up to wind without flipping inside out. Truly Wind-Resistant: I’ve used this umbrella in some very windy rainstorms, and it held up impressively. The canopy stays strong, and even when gusts hit, it doesn’t invert or break like most umbrellas I’ve had in the past. Compact & Travel-Friendly: It folds down small enough to fit in a backpack, purse, or car door, which makes it perfect for travel and everyday carry. Despite its compact size, it provides great coverage when open. Automatic Open & Close: The one-button auto open/close feature is super convenient, especially when getting in and out of the car. It’s smooth and works every time. Solid Build Quality: This umbrella feels sturdy and well made. The handle is comfortable to grip, and everything about it feels durable and premium. Overall Impression: If you’re tired of replacing umbrellas after every windy storm, this is the one to get. Reliable, compact, and truly windproof—this umbrella has earned a permanent spot in my bag. These worked great - used during the blizzard in NYC in February 2026, held up to wind fine. A little bigger than the ultra compact umbrellas I have used in the past, it did not fit easily into a coat pocket, but did fit fine in the backpack. Was glad to have the extra size and strength during the storm! Read more

Love it's size, weight and best of all- the crossbody carrying case. The umbrella has a nice size canopy and, so far, seems sturdy. The case is the star. Indiscrete and a perfect way to be rain-ready without a need to carry it in a purse, bag or-hand. Another bonus- it solves the problem of where to put the damp umbrella once you're no longer using it! Read more

Feels high quality. Love the auto open and retraction of the umbrella. Super convenient. Size is a bit small, but pretty standard for travel size and I love that it doesn't feel as flimsy or easily bent as the cheaper ones. Read more

Haven’t had the umbrella long, but I have some initial disappointments with it. The umbrella comes with a little umbrella sheath so you can stash it somewhere when wet. Unfortunately once you removed the umbrella it will never fit in again, let alone fit in remotely easily. There is no stretch or give (nor a rope synch - it’s just a very cheaply constructed plastic bag basically) The disappointing thing here is if they cheap out on something that would cost them probably pennies to make useful - and which come with much less expensive umbrellas - I don’t hold up much hope for the construction of the umbrella itself, it stands the reason they’ve started to penny pinch there as well. So far in use, the umbrella has held up to very white winds and it does keep my head dry! The opening close action is a little rough, certainly not as smooth as I would expect from a “premium umbrella”, but hey, it hasn’t fallen apart yet! I mean it’s been a week but… It’s something. The other concern I have is it’s incredibly unclear if an umbrella is actually covered by their warranty. There are several cases where people have purchased on Amazon and the company hasn’t honored the warranty because it was “the wrong seller”. Well, I understand that they need to not replace counterfeit umbrellas, I don’t feel like the burden of uncertainty should be put on customers. They ask us to register the umbrella warranty, but don’t ask for information to actually confirm that the warranty is valid when doing that - it’s just a gimmick to get our contact information for marketing purposes. I wish I had bought a butter umbrella, or just bought four $5 umbrellas. Read more
