Disappointing construction
I got the matching set and was really disappointed with this order. For starters the construction of both pieces, particularly the skirt, was really not up to par for what I’d consider a luxury good. I purchased this for roughly $100 on a cyber Monday deal. The skirt is an unlined satin, that was already fraying as I pulled it out the package. This is not the same mesh material as the coordinating top. And both are incredibly thin. There is a side zipper with no hook and eye, and only two darts at the back. Not at all what I was expecting to get at this price point. The fit was off due to the zipper placement and construction. It’s actually a very simple design that any beginner seamstress could do with less than 2 yards of fabric. I was particularly disappointed with the packaging. Again for this price point (~$200 for both pieces on sale), I thought at least it would come in a box. But both pieces were delivered in plastic bags, in an Amazon bag.
