This is the best stuff EVER for diaper rash. I tried so many other things when my 4 month old had a really bad diaper rash recently and then found someone suggest this so I went for it. Within 2 days, the rash was almost completely gone. This is just amazing considering you can't exactly give your 4 year old "air time" like a toddler who is almost potty trained. I applied a tiny amount to the affected areas that were the worst then lathered on Vaseline to seal it in and protect his skin until the next diaper change. Everyone was saying how bad it smells but I personally think it smells like bandaids which is pretty fitting since it helped heal his rash. Really the only negative about this product is the cost. I was thinking I ordered two big jars like Desitin usually comes in but they are TINY! However, I used it very sparingly and still had amazing results so it really was worth every penny in my mind. I will recommend this again and again to anyone with a baby/toddler fighting diaper rash. Read more

Our family has used Resinol since 1895 when it was first available. It was reformulated in about 1995, but still retains the important ingredients but not the smell. Great for Bug Bites, Stove Burns, Chapping especially from Wind Burn. My husband uses it when he skies. We use the smaller size when traveling. Any issues with what you ate while traveling, this will fix the burning when applied to clean skin. My daughter-in-laws niece had terrible chapping from licking her lips. She was six years old and the other students teased her. Her mom applied a thin coat of Resinol to the chapping and overnight 95% better. Next night she applied it again and no more chapping and it never came back. I keep a supply to give to friends and family so they never have to worry about not having any Resinol. We would never want to run out. WOW! My husband calls it a "Pharmacy in a Jar".
