These have been wonderful for rehabbing my shoulder. They can be used for just about any exercise but the constant resistance it a huge help in working out my frozen shoulder. I carry them with me when I travel for use as well! Read more
Got these so that my disabled wife could exercise in her chair. They do a great job, having the different 'weights' each in their own color makes picking them out nice and easy. They're well made and don't seem to stretch out or get weaker, so she'll have them to use for a good amount of time. Having an included bag to store them in was also a very nice touch, I'll do business with these guys again. Read more
I have had a lot of bands for my home gym over the years, and also used ones at my old crossfit box. These are medium grade bands. They aren't the same as the top end bands, but they also aren't the same as cheapo ones I've had. At the time of this review, they are $34.99 for the set. That is a fantastic price for a set of bands like this. Read more
Arrived well packaged. Each band is well marked with it's "weight" equivalent, as well as color coded. These are very stout, well made. The carry bag fits everything however it could be perhaps 5 - 10% larger, as it is a tight fit to get all the bands and the small instruction booklet to fit inside, Kinda had to cram things in while pulling the drawstring to close. Eventually, I will mount something to my workout room wall to hang these from, for convenience and to keep things clutter free. The instruction booklet gives some good starter routines. However, with a bit of creativity, there is so much more that can be accomplished with these. Do keep in mind, these are not free weights, so when "lifting" (ok, stretching) the bands, the tension feedback they give will get stronger, in essence "upping" the weight equivalent. This affect is similar to the original Bowflex gym that used bands (I had one for a few years, many eons ago). With those old Bowflex, that was perhaps the biggest complaint users had was that the further you stretch the bands, the "heavier" their equivalent weight seemed to get. The same thing here with these bands, so just something to keep in mind. The biggest benefit is you can nearly replace an entire row of free weights by mixing/combining various bands to increase weight, as your strength increases, Without taking up all the space of a rack of free weights, AND without the huge cost incurred to purchase an entire rack of free weights. So Convenience is the big one here, Plus if you travel, these can go with. If flying, they take up a very small space in a suitcase. If driving/camping/etc. they take up very little space in the vehicle. One "Nice to have" with these would be a poster sized workout chart for bands to be included. There are some available on Amazon, though they are an extra purchase - at minimal cost. Read more
I have mostly good things to say about these resistance bands. They are thick and feel durable. The exterior feels smooth with a little bit of powdery coating. Nothing that rubs off on you clothes or anything, but just has that powdery-smooth feel. And they are pretty thick. Even the lightest (yellow) resistance band is thick enough that I don't think it will break anytime soon. I'm not actually sure what resistance the yellow band is. It doesn't say in the manual, but it's pretty light. Also, I thought it was a real nice attention to detail that each band comes with its own color coded rubber band to keep it held together. Even though I am 100% sure I will lose these rubber bands 😂, it's still a nice touch. They could have used generic rubber bands for each one, but went the extra mile. It comes with a little booklet with some exercises, but pretty generic and seems just to be a legal requirement. Now my one caveat: They length of each one is around 40 inches. I wish the bands were just a little longer. I used the heaviest one to assist with pull-ups and had to bend my knees to use it. I was kind of afraid to stand on it with straight legs since I worried I might stretch it out too much and it would rip. That is my only complaint. Wish they were just a bit longer to make assisted pull-ups easier, but that will just take some getting used to on my end I think. Overall, I would surely recommend these. They work great as resistance bands, but also it seems like extra care was taken to add a little quality-of-life improvements. The carrying case, matching rubber bands, and the nice feeling exterior. 5 stars! Read more

I’ve used bands in the past but they weren’t as substantial as these. These bands are thick, don’t curl up on the edges and provide some serious resistance. I used to be a big gym rat when I was younger, but as I grew older and was busy raising my family, the time for gym workouts simply evaporated. The kids have left the nest now and I have a lot more “me time” so getting back in shape has became a priority for me. The golden rule of getting back into shape is to go slow. Being over zealous will hinder your results as your body likes to adjust slowly at first. Over training should be avoided at all costs as it will over stress your connective tissues, produce more soreness and flood your system with cortisol. Cortisol is the stress hormone that will make you grouchy, will negatively affect your sleep patterns and will bring about a general feeling of fatigue and malaise. With that being said, resistance bands are perfect for easing into a fitness routine as they are easy to use, very portable and easy to store or take with you. As I stated before, these bands are robust and provide a “no excuses” opportunity to get into shape. Additionally, you can definitely build quality muscle mass if that is your goal as studies have shown that health and longevity are related to maintaining good muscularity and flexibility. Remember, ease into it, get your sleep and be mindful of nutrition. Recommend! Read more
