My husband is very athletic at age 88. The cords were a little too stretchy but adding a couple together worked great. He has liked them over all. They are well made and the price was great for what you get. Read more
I have several sets of exercise bands. (Christmas list finally worked! Too well.) They’re usually just one or two and not five different resistance levels. I like having so many options to increase my workout level. I honestly couldn’t say these are much different than the other bands except for the accessories. I like that these have carabiners to connect the handles, the door anchor, and the ankle straps to. One of the others had a built-in handle and it limited the versatility of the bands. The challenge I have with this bands is that they are quite long. That’s both good and bad. The bad is that, while the ankle straps are nice in theory (more like foot or toe straps, by the way), they are useless. The bands are about 5-ft long, unstretched. There will be no hooking one end on your foot and then doing curls. If you stretch them high above your head, you just begin to feel a little resistance. The only way to use these bands is if you double them up and run them under your feet (which is not comfortable if barefoot and trying to build strength) or connecting them to a wall or door jamb about 8 to 10 ft away. (The door jamb is nice and won’t hurt your door or the frame, by the way.) I doubt I’d be able to bring these on work travel or vacation and use them in a hotel gym if someone else is there working out. I’d be all over their space. I’m trying to think of something I can use as a channel, of sorts, so I can put them under my feet and hold more than one without digging into my maybe overly-sensitive feet-pads. Or maybe just stand on something instead of involving my feet at all. The storage bag is useful. At first I tried rolling up the bands real nice and sliding them in carefully. But I’m too impatient for this. I soon learned that you can usually just shove them into the bag along with the accessories and it all fits. As far as value for the money, getting 5 bands (along with the accessories) for this price seems like a good deal. There are less bands costing more. I will update this review if the carabiners and handle mounts disconnect from the band. I felt I had to reduce this to 4 stars because of the length of the band just seemed too long to do anything other than doubling them up or using them in a comfortably large room. Read more

These have become my travel companion. They'll never replace my home setup, but I travel a lot and sometimes the hotel gyms are just.. not worth it. easily packed away in the bag that comes with, they fit my carry on bag great. 5 'weights' to choose from or combine means a workout can be had. I'd like some heavier bands though, these are just okay for maintenance, not a true work out Read more
