I bought this for my Pur pitcher and it fits perfectly. It's a neat product: once you put the cartridge into your pitcher instead of the normal Pur cartridge, whenever you need to replace the filter you just unscrew the top with your fingers and drop in a new filter pod (kind of like a big tea bag). No more throwing away a big lump of plastic every two months - it's cool! For curiosity's sake I also tried it in my mom's Brita pitcher and it fits that perfectly too and now I'm going to have to buy her a Clear Genius cartridge too. It looks like you can get Clear Genius Filter Pod Refills (Pack-3) Fits Clear Genius Reusable Cartridge. SKU: SR-3 or Clear Genius Filter Pod Refills (Pack-6) Fits Clear Genius Reusable Cartridge. When I saw this product on Amazon, I ordered it immediately. I don't believe it came with instructions on prepping the filter so I used the procedure for Britas. So far, the product has worked well, as well as the Brita. What I found attractive was the reusable media holder. This will be much less wasteful. 2/27/2017 update: I have used my initial filter for many gallons of water. Like the brand OEM filter, it makes my well water taste great. We have a lot of iron in our water and the iron taste completely disappears. I am now ordering the 3-pack of media. Read more

This filter doesn't fit all Brita pitchers, but there isn't specific information about which Brita's it's compatible with. I installed the filter according to the instructions and it cracked my Brita, the liner part that holds the filter. I"m not sure if I will be able to get reimbursed for the broken pitcher too. I don't recommend these filters until they have more specific information about which pitchers you can use it with because of the risk damaging a pitcher. Read more

Update: Found out that it was the Brita pitcher itself that was the issue. It had a defect in the place where the filter goes which blocked it from being properly fitted. I do believe if my pitcher was not defective that it would work perfectly with the Clear Genius filter. Original: I had at first bought this as a replacement for my Brita 6 Cup pitcher thinking it would work but it was too big. However When I had tried to return it the company instead sent me a free pitcher that then knew would work with the filter and refunded me for the original filter I had bought. Now that I have the pitcher I would say the water might taste even better than coming out of the Brita filter I had been using. Not only does this product work extremely well but the fact that I am not wasting tons of plastic every time that I throw away a filter makes me feel so much better. Bought two units for my two pitchers. One was good but the other was missing the rubber O-ring. Will contact Clear Genius to get a replacement. Two-star initial rating will change once I get the other unit replaced & working and have had a chance to evaluate how well they work. Otherwise, a good concept - it's always bothered me that I was throwing away a plastic housing when all that needed replacement was the filter inside. Update: contacted Clear Genius via phone and e-mail. They replied to both. Sent me a replacement cartridge & filter along with additional filters to compensate me for the inconvenience. It's impossible to determine how well the filters work versus genuine Pur or Brita filters (I would need lab equipment to do so) but the quality & idea deserve merit. I didn't know these existed until Amazon suggested it when I was looking for PUR water filter refills. I was skeptical but these are awesome. My water tastes just as good as the full priced filters and they are much better for the environment. They fit perfectly in my pitcher and large capacity water tank. I am definitely happy with this.
