I used these to keep milk cold in a beverage dispenser. After 2 hours, the milk was still ice cold! These little cubes are awesome. I tried them with just water first to see if there would be any flavor change and there wasn't one. My only disappointment is one of the cubes had a hole, so the water leaked and it us unusable. I guess for something coming from China 1 defective cube out of 50 isn't bad. I'd purchase again. If the company sees this review, please send me an ice cube to replace the defective one. Also, it's clear a lot of reviewers don't understand basic science. If you put a regular ice cube into a warm drink, the ice cube will quickly melt and the drink eventually warms to room temperature, if it wasn't already warm. These cubes are simply plastic cubes with water inside and work just like ice. These plastic ice cubes are not a freezer or refrigerator and will not dramatically cool down something that is warm or hot, just like a few pieces of ice won't do that either. Please use your brain. Why did you pick this product vs others?: These work so much better than real ice cubes, no mess. We use them at church to keep the milk, coffee creamer cold alone with any condiments that need refrigeration. Saves money by reusing and no ice melting leaving a mess. Read more

I bought these as an alternative to bag ice. If I run out of bag ice I thought I could use these. They work fine but they don't chill a drink as cold as ice does and they melt faster too. Fortunately they don't water down a drink. I keep them handy but they are not a replacement for real ice cubes. Unless you like your ice tea or sodas closer to room temperature. Thanks to these little gems I don't have to make ice 24/7. They are durable, easy to clean and store in a small container in my freezer. They fit perfectly in mugs, travel bottles and most any containers. They're great because they don't dilute the flavor of any drink. I bought these for my girlfriend who is an incredibly slow iced coffee drinker… like HOURS slow. She always ended up with watery iced coffee, which resulted in her offering me the coffee -_- Needless to say, no one wants to drink watered down coffee. So I figured it was worth a try. She is very happy with the freezable cubes: consistent cold without the watery aftermath. If I had to take a guess, the cubes are (max) 1”x1”x1”. So they’re not too big. We have a lot of lime scale in our local water so I thought these would work well to keep beverages cold. They do stay cold and serve that purpose but when I use them in sparkling water with no flavor I can actually taste the plastic from the cubes. It was disappointing. I really wanted them to work. I was a little surprised, but these actually work pretty nicely. I don’t have an icemaker so I thought this would be a good alternative. They’re very easy to use. When you’re done with them, you just wash them just like you would wash the dishes and put them back in the freezer. I keep an empty plastic container in my freezer and put them in there so they’re not loose in the freezer area. I thought for sure that this one package would be enough, but I should’ve purchased two. So if you use a lot of ice, I would purchase several packs. These little squares have water in them and the water freezes. They keep drinks cold for a little bit. The great thing is when they melt they don’t water down your drink. I don’t know if I received a defective batch but they don’t freeze. I have had them in my freezer for over 24 hours and nothing is frozen. I even moved them around. I spread them out. Tried them in my deep freezer and the refrigerator freezer just to make sure and still did not freeze. Now I have another set on the way because I ordered a second pack before I realized they don’t freeze. I will try the second pack I ordered just to see if maybe I just got a bad batch.
