Great product!
Before I go into details (and there will be quite a few), go for this deal! Amazon price is lower than directly from Revo and by as much as $40! Now, to the juice... Beautiful, stylish, sublime, perfectly executed. One of the best sunglasses I had over the years. Very lightweight, beautiful color and style. A few things I find important to know: 1. COLOR - Pictures you'll find on Amazon and elsewhere are misleading. You'd expect sunglasses with vivid green reflective surface, which is only partly true. Indoors (see below) this feature is almost absent, while in the bright sunlight they become green and reflective, but someone looking at you will still be able to see your eyes through those lenses. 2. LIGHT BLOCKING - These are photochromic lenses, which means what it says - they change the light-blocking intensity based on ambient light. Indoors, they are just slightly dark but not as dark as majority of other sunglasses. Once you step out into the bright outdoors they quickly get darker. What's important to know (and the website description doesn't state clearly enough) is that even outdoors they don't get AS DARK as majority of other sunglasses. Yes, they do block sunlight, but a bit less than your typical sunglasses. For those of you who need really dark sunglasses, this may not be an ideal choice for a comfy day at the beach. 3. POLARIZATION - this is outstanding. If you ever had a camera with a polarizing lens, this is what it will look. These glasses do terrific polarization, unlike any I had before, without affecting or altering the natural color of the objects. They provide vivid contrast and a slightly deeper shades, especially darker sky color, just like a good polarizing filter for a camera would. I find these to be ideal for driving in any light conditions (other than night, of course). Probably the best driving sunglasses I had so far. And last but not least - the carrying case. Gorgeous, sturdy case which puts to shame some of my favorite competitors (Maui Jim and Ray-Ban, are you listening?). Not only it provides good protection, but looks classy and stylish, exactly what you'd expect from $300+ sunglasses. Inside this beautifully designed case, you'll find a cloth carrying pouch which also acts as a cleaning cloth. In a nutshell, if you're OK with some limited sun blocking ability, this is a must have. This model must be very new as I see no reviews yet, which should not stop you from trying. They are returnable, but these are staying with me, hopefully for many years to come. Read more
