I’ve been through a few different tool bags, but this backpack is easily the most organized setup I’ve owned. The rigid steel wire frame at the opening is awesome—it actually stays open while I’m digging for a multimeter or a wrench instead of collapsing like a cheap gym bag. The storage is incredibly well-thought-out. I love the magnetic front pocket for holding screws and nails while I’m working; it’s one of those "how did I live without this?" features. Between the 6 internal slots, the mesh pockets, and the separate zippered pouch for drill bits, everything has a specific home. The tactical style strips on the outside also give it a really sharp, modern look that stands out from the typical bulky tool kits. Even when it’s loaded down with heavy gear, the padded waist support and shoulder straps make it surprisingly comfortable to carry. I've been very bad over the years about keeping my tools organized and readily accessible for use around the house. This tool bag is working out great for me. There is enough room in that it's able to fit many of the tools I use on a regular basis in addition to the ones I only use occatioinally. I usually keep those occational ones in the tool box in the garage but this bag allows me to keep them inside the house where I can get to them quickly. I wouldn't necesarily call myself a handyman but even I need to fix stuff around the house every now and then. I usually have to hunt around for the particular tools I need but now I'm able to put most of them in this one bag. So far, these are some of the items in my tool bag: screwdrivers (manual and electric along with the charger), tape measure, endoscope, leveler, flashlights, screws, and that's just the beginning. I have so much more that I'm going to put in it and there will be plenty of room for them. With so many tools in one bag it can get heavy so the fact that there is a handle for carrying by hand and straps to carry it on your back is good design. I won't have any problems taking this pack anywhere I need to. It's made of sturdy material so it feels like it will hold up well with all of that weight. I recently consolidated my core automotive tools into this backpack to make it easier to handle roadside breakdowns and general travel. It is a sturdy, well-constructed bag that feels like it can handle the weight of a full kit without any structural issues. The primary draw here is the sheer size; it really is massive. I managed to fit my entire essential set into the various compartments, which is much more convenient than lugging around multiple smaller containers. The materials feel high-quality and durable enough for regular work use. However, the main pouch is exceptionally deep. While this allows for a significant amount of storage, it can be a bit of a drawback if you aren't careful with organization. I found that smaller items like individual sockets or loose bolts tend to migrate to the bottom and can be difficult to fish out quickly in the middle of a job. This is an excellent choice for anyone needing a heavy-duty, portable organizer for larger tools. Just be prepared to use secondary pouches for the tiny hardware so they don't get lost in the depths. I've always used toolboxes, from the traditional full-size stacking toolbox with drawers to the smaller boxes with an inner tray, and more recently to a tool bag that goes inside a 5-gallon bucket to hold a few tools for a small job. I've never seen a tool backpack like this, but the Rexmica Tool Bag Backpack is quite impressive! It is made of a sturdy nylon material with some heavy-duty stitching over a wire frame. The bag feels quite solid. It is loaded inside and out with pockets, loops, slots, clips, and includes a small pouch and a magnetic plate on the front. It has both backpack straps and a handle for carrying. This bag will hold just about everything I need for those emergency repairs at the in-laws. It costs less than a traditional toolbox but is much more versatile and, in my opinion, much more value for my money. Read more
This is a great tool bag with a lot of storage options. There are plenty of pockets and compartments that work well for both individual hand tools and bulk storage, which makes it easy to stay organized on the job. Everything has its place, and it’s simple to find what you need without digging around. One of the biggest advantages is that it can be worn as a backpack. Compared to a single-strap bag or carrying a bucket, the weight is distributed much more evenly, which makes a big difference when the bag is fully loaded. It’s far more comfortable to carry, especially over longer distances or around larger job sites. The bag itself feels very durable and well-made, and it seems like it will hold up well to daily use. The black and yellow color scheme is consistent with a major tool brand and looks right at home on a job site, especially for someone working in the trades. That said, a solid black version would also be a nice option and would give it a slightly more professional, streamlined look. My son, who is an electrician apprentice, has really enjoyed stocking this bag with his tools and using it regularly on the job site, and it has worked very well for his needs. Read more
This bag opens up to be quite large! Loads of space in the inside, plus lots of the storage on the outside. The magnetic piece on the front is handy especially if you need to have a few nails/screws on hand for a job. My other tool bag is quite heavy & only has a shoulder strap. The backpack feature on this makes hauling so much easier! I’m still working on getting it organized just hope I want it, but I’m quite impressed with it! Read more
