I’m giving it 5 stars because it does what it says and does it well, but let me tell you a few things I didn’t like that I’d improve if I could — and you can decide if it’s still for you... #1. You can only charge 4 items. It talks about charging iPhone and iPods, but you can’t wirelessly charge both at the same time. So you either need to do a wired charge or only do one at a time. It also holds 2 controllers but only has 1 Type-C and 1 USB 2.0 on the back. So you’re not charging both controllers with the same cabling. In my photo, I’m charging: 1 headset (wired USB), 1 iPhone 12 Pro Max (MagSafe), 1 Apple Watch (watch mag), and a portable battery (Type-C). #2. I would have loved to be able to see my phone while it’s charging. It lays flat, so I can’t use it while it’s charging. I have to use Face ID and 2FA on my phone ALL day long as part of my job, so having a phone facing me that I don’t have to pick up would be nice. It also barely fits width-wise with my case — I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max (same width as the 17 Pro Max) with a simple MagSafe case, so I’m good! Now for the good stuff... #1. The base is not only padded to be skid-proof, but it’s HEAVY, making it very sturdy and stable. No wobbly, cheap plastic feel. #2. The lighting is very sharp. I don’t like motion lighting (it’s distracting), but it has a nice solid option too, and you can pick the color. #3. It comes with an AC adapter and USB cable so you can power it without buying anything extra. You could use your own cable too, but be warned: you need enough power to charge all 4 devices and the LED. In fact, when I accidentally plugged an older USB into the input, it would only charge my phone when I turned the LED off — it just didn’t have enough power from my plug. But the one that comes with it worked as expected. Bottom line: This charging station delivers exactly what it promises — a sturdy, well-built base, clean lighting options, and enough power to handle multiple devices when used with the included adapter. While I’d love a more upright phone position and true simultaneous wireless charging for multiple devices, those are minor trade-offs compared to the convenience and quality you get here. If you need an all-in-one solution for your desk or nightstand, this is a great choice. Read more
The product did what it was made for, just not for all watches. I placed my Samsung galaxy watch active 2 released (2019) on it and it was just pushing it away and was not working. I flipped it every way and it still didn't want to dock on the charging plate. I did try a newer watch that was an Apple product, the watch was an Apple watch SE 3 and it worked perfectly fine. The charging station for the phone was slow. I set my phone on it, which was a Samsung galaxy s25 ultra, at 68% and it said it would take 1 hr and 5 mins to fully charge. The controller holders did seem very sturdy and firm when snapped into place. The lights didn't seem overwhelmingly bright either so that is a plus as well. I bought this for my nephew for Christmas so I don't have pictures other than carefully inspecting it and putting it back in the box. Capacity for charging: 4 items total Sturdy, nice form factor, solid base. Lots of light modes. Pretty cool. The upshot is that it's probably an awesome product for long-term charging overnight. But as you know not all charging is equal so if you really do need to charge stuff fast you're probably going to attach it to a USBC. Adapter is 20w, so out of the box you will be able to charge all four items at the same time. If you use a different cord it's not going to charge as efficiently and it may not charge all the items, it seems. So the one out of the box should be good but probably experiment with stronger or better cables to get better charging capacity.
