IT works. The best thing I ever bought! Read more
I'll be real, these are silicone mesh sheets so the quality between brands is pretty interchangeable if they all use food-grade silicone. That being said, these sheets are perfect for making reusable liners and cutting down on parchment paper use. Just cut them into shape and they're good to go, they fold easily and store well. I suggest storing them in plastic bags since that way you can label them for easy sorting, and when you store them they don't grip each other and become disordered when you rifle through your drawers looking for something. The mesh itself has large openings, so using it as a bag for pressing; cheese, soy beans, and grains is a bad idea since lots of larger particles can get through necessitating further straining. The silicone also makes the mesh stiffer than cheesecloth or nylon bags/sheets so it is a more cumbersome process. There is very little difference separating these sheets from traditional cloth when it is used to line steamers, the main differences are that it doesn't retain any water so it can result in dryer rice or dumplings and you can clean it with a soft bristle brush (which doesn't really matter if you machine wash your cheesecloth, just make sure to use an organic gentle detergent). What I've found that is interesting with these sheets is that you can use them to make large broiler "pans" by placing them on the wire rack in the uppermost bracket and putting a baking sheet beneath them on the rack in the second highest bracket, you can easily broil enough; vegetables, steaks, burgers, fish, and chicken for an entire cookout or party. You can even use this broiling method to precook the meats or veggies before sending them out to be seared on a grill! The silicone mesh is much easier to clean and store than a traditional broiler pan. Just remember to broil on "low" if you have an electric oven, and to wipe the racks afterwards. Read more
Pay attention to the sizing of this thing! This silicone mesh mat is pretty sizable. It was much larger than I thought it was going to be, but it's fine because I cut it down to different sizes. I like to use it for steaming dumplings and sticky rice. It worked really well for those purposes. I love that it's reusable and very easy to clean. I use a brush and sponge to clean off any debris. Silicone has great non-stick properties, so my food isn't stuck to pans when I use it. It works perfectly! Read more
This sheet was larger than I thought it would be. Honestly I didn't look at the measurements prior to ordering. I bought it for a singular purpose (cooking rice in a hotpot) and it certainly reduced the amount of cleaning I had to do. I've pretty much gotten used to scraping off stuck-on rice after soaking the pot and this sheet saved me that extra step and time. What I didn't love, and I don't think this is any reflection on the product or seller, is that in order to use it for my intended purpose, I had to cut off and waste a lot so that it was a manageable size for my hotpot. -Again, no reflection on the product or seller, I could have just ordered a smaller size I imagine. Bottom line is that it does what it's supposed to and is a good addition to my kitchen tools. Read more
I'm very glad someone is selling this product in a large sheet. This particular version is a bit thinner than the version you get for your dehydrator as pre-cut sheets, but I wanted to cut rounds for my steamer basket as I often make Gua Bao for my family and now I won't have to keep folding and cutting parchment paper. I decided to see if these would cut with a diode laser, and they absolutely did. Full power and fairly slow but I was able to cut perfect rounds to fit my steamer basket. Now I'm looking for what I want to use all the rest for :-) Read more

I make sticky rice occasionally and steaming the sticky rice is a chore especially since I have a large steamer and none of my current solutions worked to keep the rice from falling down the steamer holes at the edges (as they weren't large enough), or sticking to cheesecloth. This rice cooking net or really silicone steaming net (can do other things than just rice) is non-stick silicone and simplifies this task. As the picture shows, you can also use this for your dehydrators or anywhere you want some airflow. I love that it is a large sheet so that I can customize it for my large size steamers (2 layers) and re-use it simply by washing and drying it. The silicone netting is flexible and foldable for easy storage. A good solution for this sticky problem. Read more
This mat is huge! Easy to trim, and you can use it for various needs in the kitchen. We actually wanted to trim it so that we could use it between pots and pans when we stack them to prvent scratching, and it's perfect for that. Will also be good in rice cooker, baskets, and for things we're sure we haven't thought of yet. Very good deal for a high quality prodcut that will last a long time. We recommend. Read more
This is a large uncut sheet of perforated silicone cooking cloth. I make Xoi (a Vietnamese sweet rice desert) a lot, and one of the problems is you must steam the rice for a long time. Ideally you lay the rice on a cheesecloth or something similar and steam it. I end up with a lot of rice sticking to the cheese cloth, or I have to use a metal bowl and water accumulates in the bowl and rice comes out mushier than I like. This is the solution to both problems. I cut the blanket sized piece of nonstick material to the shape of all my steamer baskets and now I can dump rice directly into steamer without it sticking to the bamboo or the cloth used. Very happy. I hand wash them after use and store stacked inside the steamer baskets. Read more
