Bought it because the Big Brother is made in the UK. You can definitely see the quality of this skateboard. The wheels are solid. The deck is straight. Out of the box it rides smooth. Just needed a little adjustment to make softer turns. My 3 kids (10, 6, 4) watched a couple of instructional videos for proper leg, body position and how to slow down and stop. They learnt to ride it in a matter of few minutes on a flat asphalt street. Awesome board for starters. Cool glow in the dark board, wheels are way above the average starting board and allow for a great fast and smooth ride. Turn radius is awesome! It’s a very cheap board. The bolts on the trucks go lose to the point they’ll fall off. I have to pick it up every mile or so to tighten them with my fingers. A wrench will work but only for a mile or two until it loosens again Read more

The ridge board is the best board I've ever had in my entire life and I've gone through a LOT of sk8boards. The board came in great condition and received it in a few days. I love my board and who ever is interested in buying a board I suggest this one because even for half the cost it rides better than a penny board and it has the smoothest ride you can think of. Great starter skateboard. Everything is high quality but like others, I HIGHLY recommend buying Bones Red bearings (http://amzn.to/2iiffHZ) and a cheap rachet tool, the cheapest I found here (http://amzn.to/2ihUJqF). The scateboard arrived late, it had gouges in the wheels and bottom of the board.yet claims to be brand new. I ordered blue wheels and they scent a green wheeled board. It was also much more flexible than a scate board should. Beware It is child sized as well. Read more
I purchased this for my 14 yr old son b/c of the price and the reviews. It was so close to the one he wanted for 110.00 but I refused to pay that much as he has never had a board b/f! He was not happy!! Until he got the board....I asked if he liked his board after riding it and he said "I refuse to admit you were right mom!" He took off on it immediately w/out issues! My husband tried it and it handled his 200lbs just fine (not that he went far!) it is longer than a penny board (which I like) yet portable enough to go places, plastic is nice a thick/stiff yet flexible enough for a smooth ride! My son was so prepared to hate this board b/c I picked it and it wasn't his >100 dollars board, but alas, mother knows best!! Read more
