I don't normally pay this much for a pair of shoes, even good ones, because I've found nice looking comfortable shoes at a cheaper price. However, I got some b'day money that was burning a hole in my pocket and needed some new brown shoes, so I thought I'd give these a try after an exhaustive search and a lot of review reading. Got these two days after ordering them with Amazon's great Prime set up, and I have to say that they were so comfortable the first time I put them on. The support inside seemed OK, but since it would be the first day at work wearing them, I thought I'd go ahead and wear my arch inserts. I have a narrow foot and the shoe fits comfortably snug even with the added supports. I wear a size 10 and that's what I ordered, and my toe barely touches in front, so it's just right and no sliding up and down on the heel. The dark brown leather and style of the shoe looks great. This is my second pair of Reiker Celia Slip-Ons. I usually wear a US women's 8.5 and the size 39 fit perfectly. I have these shoes in Toffee and a Grey color and love both. They are very stylish - I'm always getting compliments on these shoes. They are great for travel - light weight, easy on and off for the airport, and comfortable for walking. I have foot problems (nerve damage and aging feet) and had resigned myself to always being the "lady in Nikes" because I was able to get the support I needed from my Nikes and an orthodontic insert. I am working 10 hours shift and so far this is the most comfortable shoes to wear daily . This is my 4-th pairs , the 1-st are more then 20 years and still GREAT!!! I have Black, Brown, Purpurviolet/Antik and now Red/Wine color of them. I really would like to have them in Camel and off white color if possible . I have so many compliments when I wearing them in public health work. I am happy to share with my patients where I can get this shoes for them . The shoes also non slippery which is a plus for patients after ortho surgery or bunions/feet surgery or any other surgeries . I ordered this shoe and size because I love the Rieker shoe brand, especially the antistress product line. Unfortunately, the right shoe, although not worn, is stretched out at the heel. The entire back and side leather are stretched to the point that the shoe is an entire side larger. I obvious don't know if someone tried to stretch the shoe to make it fit, or it's a result of poor construction, but the end result is one shoe is much too big. The real problem is that when I tried to return the shoes, I found out the package must be shipped to Slovakia. For the price of shipping, I'll just donate the shoes to my favorite Hospice Charity. I just discovered this brand of shoe this past summer and lived in the pair I purchased! They are extremely comfortable shoes and can be walked in all day when traveling without having sore feet! I purchased this style in both brown and black. They fit true to size; however I have a high instep, so there is not an abundance of room due to the high cut of the shoe, but once they are broken in, they will be great! They are dressy enough to wear with dress pants, yet look fine with blue jeans! Read more

I have bought this same shoe: same brand, same model, same size, 3 times since 2006. I wear them at least 3 days a week for work. The newest order is either old (stored in warehouse too long) or Reiker is cutting corners. I had given my previous pair to my mom as it still had life in them. The newer pair in just a few weeks look worse than the ones I gave her which I had worn for several years! The leather is peeling such that I had to polish them twice in the first 3 months to not feel embarrassed. They had not been worn in any inclement weather (rain, snow, mud) and I have otherwise always looked for Reiker brand. Read more
