This is my fifth RipSkirt, and I love this length. It can be dressed up to go out or down for a boat ride. Any length is pretty, very well made and double top stitched. This one has pockets, too! If you want something simple and fun, this and all of the RipSkirts are lovely. Read more
This skirt has all the things: well made, light weight, quick dry, wrinkle free, cute, not sloppy. Size chart is accurate, and I LOVE that it comes in 4 lengths. They are a superior alternative to shorts, and since I live in the desert Southwest (where temps exceed 100 through October), I will be wearing length 3 to work. The best part, they hide my big belly comfortably! One caveat - wash alone so the Velcro on the waist band doesn't snag other clothing. Read more
versatile skirt ; great for the office; or even for week-end errands; very comfortable . it can be adjusted at waist when you need that extra inch when desert time cannot be bypassed. the material dries quickly and does not absorb spilled items; so no ink damage. the material keeps its shape too. awesome skirt. so very glad i found this product. i have many of their patterns, they are all beautiful. the black one is a must; it can be dressed up or casual. the best. Love these skirts! I have one in every length. I wear them to work, for travel as they pack well without wrinkling. I pair them with t shirts or tanks in the summer and with a blouse or long sleeve top in the cooler months. Dress up or dress down, the most versatile item of clothing you will own. Read more
I bought the XS and it fits very well! I am about 5'2", under 115 pounds. Hits below my knees which is what I will need for visiting some cathedrals on an upcoming trip. Light and easy to pack for traveling. Does not seem like it could blow open enough to reveal anything underneath. Nice, deep pocket on one side. Very flattering fit. Extra velcro piece included to cover any exposed velcro depending on needed size. Read more
I received this skirt today, tried it on with my bathing suit and then with some blouses and I knew immediately that I needed another one, one for the pool and one for running around, so I already ordered another. It's flattering, perfect length for an older woman, like myself, cool and oh so versatile. I wear a 16 in pants and the XL was a perfect fit with some wiggle room either way. The velcro allows for fitting the waist more tightly or loosely. I do think the XL would be too snug for a size 18. Read more
I already own SIX rip skirts and I adore them, but I bought them before they shortened Length 3. I am 5'10" and tend to wear my skirts at my waist, not slung below, and so the old length fits perfectly just below my knee. I wear these all summer and they are simply the best, as a cover up at beach, pool, on a boat AND suitable to dress up for dinner at a restaurant. I am disappointed with the new length on 3's as it hits me mid-knee - not attractive on me at all. I will keep this one as I can use it as a cover-up and I like the yellow color, but I really love my old ones. Interestingly, this one is a better fit at the waist - I had my older ones taken in by a seamstress. Read more
I ordered my first RipSkirt Hawaii skirt from Amazon because of the return policy from the company. I have since ordered pants and and dresses directly from the company because Amazon doesn't carry those items at this time. These live up to the advertisement hype. They are comfortable , they really are wrinkle resistant, and the pockets are deep enough to be useful. They are not see through either. One suggestion if you plan to wear the skirt -- purchase moisture wicking bike shorts to wear underneath in case of wind or a fall. I got mine from the company and they are thin enough to be comfortable but thick enough to be modest. They come in letter sizes so check the size chart. I found them true to size based on that.
