The best matcha mix out there. I have been drinking Rishi Tea Sweet Matcha daily for years. I was excited to see they were on Amazon for when I cannot get to the store in time. I’ve tried so many matcha powders trying to recreate lattes I’ve had at coffee shops, and not only is this one the best I’ve tried at home but I like it more than some cafe versions I’ve paid $6+ for recently and I basically get 5-6 lattes for the price of one at a shop. It is a bit sweetened but that just means I don’t need to add any syrups, and there’s absolutely no bitter/overly earthy flavor in this which the sugar might be helping with. I wish they also made an unsweetened one that’s otherwise the same product but that’s okay. It has a strong flavor and is basically foolproof, I have yet to make a bad cup of it. I like to do 1 heaping tbsp of powder in 1/4 cup water at 175 degrees, then add ice and 3/4 cup of milk. Blends completely in the water and it is delicious. Read more

I can’t even begin to describe how much I love this matcha. For the price, it’s an incredible find. It comes pre-sweetened, so I never have to add anything else—just whisk and enjoy. (That said, definitely skip this one if you prefer your matcha unsweetened.) I go through it so quickly that I’ve added it to my monthly subscription. The directions are printed right on the box, and when followed, the result is consistently smooth and delicious. One tip: don’t get lazy and use room-temperature water. This is the only sweet matcha I’ve had and it has a very good flavor. The powder is a nice thin texture, which made it easy to blend. I purchased this to use in lattes and make regular matcha drinks iced and it worked well. You don’t have to add anything unless you want a flavored syrup to go along with it. The only downside I can say is the packet size is very small. The amount that you will use each time, it should still last awhile from what I ascertain. Read more
