I ordered the brown-colored vest for my adult daughter. If you are going for the "grandmacore" look, this vest is for you, especially in the brown color. The seller also has this style available in other colors. It has an old-world vibe to it. Someone could wear this to a renaissance fair too. It is well made, and lightweight. The stitching is good. I didn't find any loose threads in the seams. The buttons are well coordinated in size and color to the design and color of the vest. It is light enough to be worn by itself in spring or summer weather, without being uncomfortably warm. My daughter (5 feet, 7 inches tall) wanted the large size, but should probably have gotten the medium or small. The large looks oversized on her, even when she wears something underneath it. Although the style seems a little vintage, it looks good with various styles of casual wear, and is suitable for those out-and-about days in town, or for traveling. I'm a little bit torn on this one, I do like it but I'm not 100% sold on the fit and quality. The fabric is nice and soft, also lightweight which is nice for days when it's not warm enough for a tank top but you don't want to wear a full-on sweater. The fit is a little bit loose but still shows a little bit of cleavage if you're large chested without being too tight, so it's not a frumpy fit. I like the style and contrasted stitching/black trim. I think it could be styled to suit anyone's personal preferences, from a pair of shorts or flowy skirt to some jeans with boots in the fall. My main "concern" is that it comes folded in a vacuum-sealed bag, so there are creases where the folds are when you take it out. I put it through a tumble press in the dryer and also tried steaming it but they never fully came out so I feel a little weird wearing it like I just pulled it out of a pile. If you can get the creases out, I think it's a great little sweater for that summer to fall weather transition. Read more

I was so excited for this, but when it came in I was disappointed. There's nothing inherently wrong with it - the colors match the photo, as does the design - but it looks low quality. It wasn't too soft or too itchy. It fit alright. But there's just something off about it. All that comes to mind is that it's a bit frump. Maybe better for someone else. Read more
