Roamans Womens Plus Size Ultrasmooth Fabric Maxi Skirt

I love this skirt so much, I bought it in three colors and two prints. It drapes flatteringly, the length is perfect (I am 5'10") and the fabric weight is substantial. The waistband is comfortable, but sometimes the elastic gets twisted inside the waistband, which is probably the only, very minor, drawback. Overall, this is a really nice skirt, and you could literally cram it into a ball and it would not wrinkle, so it's also an ideal garment for travel. Read more

While this skirt has a nice drape, I know that skirts from this company tend to run large, but this time I picked an extra large (no plus size) based on the fact that I have lost 43 pounds over the last year and that while I now usually wear a 1X, I chose an even smaller size based on the size chart and it is still too big for me. Now I wish I had just chosen a large, but I am not sure that would have solved the main problems. The skirt is just way too long and so I will have to have it hemmed. Next, the material is very heavy, so this will not be an everyday skirt, but will be just for special occasions when I need a nice black skirt. The heaviness of the skirt makes it somewhat uncomfortable, in my opinion, for wearing more than just a few hours (i.e. to a party, or business meeting, etc.). I thought about returning it, but with some alterations, it will work an a special occasion skirt. Read more

I’m very pleased with this skirt. It is long, and doesn’t cling to the body. This will be a great skirt for travel because I removed it from the delivery package and it didn’t require ironing. (Yay!) A great basic skirt to add to your wardrobe. Read more

I was right on the edge between sizes 14-16 and 18-20. So I went up. And I'm so glad I did. Fits loose around my waste. Doesn't hurt. Long. Flow. Doesn't cling to my hips at all. I am pear shapped. 5.5 height. 220pounds. With hips. Length lands right at my toes when I'm bare foot. Should go nicely with my pump heals. Read more
