I ordered this robe in the white with green floral pattern in a size XXL. For reference, I am 5’7, 260 lbs, and typically wear a size 2 to 3XL. It fit fairly well, but I would definitely have gone up a size if that was an option. The fabric has a soft feel and some stretch, due to the blend of polyester, rayon, and spandex. It gives it flexibility and makes it easy to move around in. After washing, I did not notice any shrinkage or fading, and it came out looking the same as it did new. The tag says not to put it in the dryer, but I did without any damage. That said, the fabric is not very breathable. It feels fine for short periods or cooler weather, but it can get a bit warm if worn for longer stretches. This is something to keep in mind if you tend to overheat easily. One downside for me is the lack of an inside tie. Without it, the robe tends to shift and does not feel very secure, even when the outer tie is adjusted. I personally prefer robes with an interior tie to keep everything in place, so this affected how comfortable it felt to wear. Length-wise, it hits around mid-thigh on me, which feels appropriate for a lightweight lounge robe. The pattern is delicate and pretty, and overall it has a more polished look than a basic house robe. This is definitely more of a lounging robe rather than an absorbent bath robe.
