Great product

I don't have pictures, but it's a good product. The wheels move smoothly for every direction, even with carry on is more than full. The only disadvantage I can say is about the color, I bought this color to identify it in case it was dispatched (that was the case, the compartments insiste the plain were already full and I had to do it). And it got a little dirty after just one use. Like it very mucht! Read more

Buyer Beware - Falling Apart on First Trip

I don't travel often on planes so a duffel is normally fine. But we're on a big trip to Europe and we thought a rolling bag would help with all the busses, trains and planes. Unfortunately the top handle started to rip at the fastener almost immediately after lifting it in and out of the Uber to the airport. By the time we arrived in Italy (3 planes later), the handle has completely ripped making the bag difficult to lift in and out of overhead bins or into taxis, etc. The wheels work ok, the handle feels cheap when rolling the bag (like it's going to break) and I cannot let go of the bag without it falling over so it is not well balanced. With our stuff the bag weighs 10kg (22lbs), so it may be heavier than the mfr recommends, but the carry-on limit here is 8kg so we're not wildly overweight. I have only used it as a carry on so I cannot comment on if the bag would hold up under the plane. We also purchased an American Tourister carry on bag for double the price, but you can tell it's a better built bag in every aspect. We are in Europe for 45 days so we won't be able to return this bag within the return window. It's very frustrating to have such a terrible experience on the first trip. I would not recommend buying this bag...even if you're like me and think "I'm only going on this one trip". Read more

Nice 20" Rockland Pasadena Spinner

This Rockland soft side spinner carry on is really nice for the price. I like the muted blue color w/ the black trim & the interior gray/white print lining is nice too. I really like the expansion zipper feature to be able to add a little more space to the bag if needed. The metal pulls on the zipper are good & there's a tiny metal lock/key. There's a place to add your name tag on the back of the luggage. The retractable handle is a bit rickety & I hope it lasts and I'm also concerned about the wheels. Not sure how long they're going to last & wish they were more robust & solid so a star off for the wheels. For the money I recommend the 20" Rockland Pasadena Spinner. Read more

Ruggedness is only 50/50

The quality of the luggage piece itself is good, and rugged and the color is as pictured. Plenty of room inside with good pockets and holding straps. If you are only going to use this to go from airport to airport, this is a great little piece as it does pass as a carry on for all but small commuter flights and the rotating wheels are very smooth. However, the telescoping handle is very poorly constructed and not rugged at all with only tiny pins holding it at each level. By the third day of hauling it on my trip, it was already feeling rickety and would only stay extended on the fully extended handle...the two middle options just were too loose by then to hold. So it was not very convenient to haul around city streets and I would much have preferred a backpack option. It is also quite heavy in and of itself and if you even add a 2lb laptop to it with your clothes, you will be overweight for the carry-on. They could fix this by making a sturdier handle. Read more

Excellent for the price. Can push as 4-wheel or pull as 2-wheel

Excellent carry-on for the price $36. Took it on board 6 flights traveling Europe for a month. Can use it in 2-wheel or 4-wheel mode. Push easily, glides on airport floors on 4 wheels and other smooth floors, but better to pull 2 wheel style on pile carpets. Can pull behind you easily on various type of road surfaces in Europe: bumpy road, cobble-stone roads, gravel paths. On stairs, it is better to use one hand to lift the fabric handle rather than stressing on the telescopic handles, if you want this suitcase to last many years. Of course, if you check in the suitcase, then the airport workers will throw it around, and it won't last long. This suitcase is made to be used by humans, not thrown around by gorillas. One reviewer complained that the suitcase dragged on the road when pulling it behind , which I find is not true if you pull it correctly. When pulling, you should tilt it about 45 degree angle, and it gives a clearance about one inch between road and the bottom. If a short person or kid pulls it with the suitcase almost horizontal then, obviously, the bottom will touch the ground. Use common sense. Read more
