For the record, it's not easy taking photos of your feet without making them look awkward. My photos were taken about a month after I purchased and began wearing these shoes. My intent was to show how they look on, but also some close up shots of the padding and comfort features. I bought these for a beach vacation. Usually I'm not a fan of wedges at all.**At All.** However, these little babies made me a believer. I've never purchased Rockport shoes before. I literally bought these because there was fast delivery and they would work with my outfits. I didn't expect to actually prefer these sandals to my other purchases. These are designed incredibly well. They are perfectly sized. Again I bought these for a beach vacation, so I liked that they had Velcro straps. I thought that Velcro would be tacky otherwise, but good for slipping on and off at the beach. But the Velcro doesn't take away from these shoes. It's very functional. You can easily tighten your shoes without buckles and I really believe it adds to the comfort of the shoe. I also don't feel that it looks tacky or cheap. It really doesn't take away from the look. Now let's talk about that comfort! To me this is the biggest feature of these shoes. The other pair of sandals I bought rubbed me raw within 10 minutes of wear. These were a life saver! They went with everything I wore. But they also were the most comfortable shoes ever right out of the box. They have cushion everywhere. Including on all the little spots that usually hurt your feet with new shoes. Like on the heel strap. All of the straps have a little bit of cushion and extra soft material to eliminate foot pain. Not one blister. Not one bit of discomfort. And for the record, I don't really even wear heels. So I expected a little pain. The first time I wore them I spent my whole day on my feet and at the end of the day felt great. These are excellent shoes. And I'm really glad to have found a new brand. Read more

I wanted to love these. They are very cute and true to size. At first the targeted cushioned pads felt like they'd be very comfortable. Unfortunately the sole under those pads is so hard that the cushions don't do much. After a few hours of wearing them with moderate walking, but mostly sitting at my job, my feet hurt badly. Even after I got home and took them off my feet continued to hurt. I won't return them because they'd be fine for an hour or two of sitting. But I'm back on to find another pair that's more comfortable for an entire workday. Read more

Where have these been all of my life?!...or at least since college. I broke my little toe while in college & every pair of heels since has hurt like crazy, not to mention, hurt the ball of my feet because of my super high arch. HOLY COMFORT IN THESE SHOES! My little toe isn't bothered because not only is the toe strap adjustable, it's super padded under it so the tops of your toes are just as comfortable as the bottoms. These sandals are adorable. They are comfortable. True to size. I bought them to wear to a bridal shower. I was on my feet all day. They did not disappoint. I have worn them many times since and they do not hurt my feet. I love them. The straps adjust too, just in case my feet are swollen. Love the heel height as well.
