Rocky womens Black Leather Side Zip Duty Boots for Women

I’ve had the 8” Rocky boot in this style and loved them for 10 years. When I saw the women’s 10.5 10” go on sale for $97..I had to try them. They are a bit stiff in the boot tongue but from having these before, I know they just need to break in because it’s top quality leather. I normally wear a women’s 10.5/mens 8.5 in this brand and it fit perfectly. I have hammer toes so I appreciate that the 10.5 feels more like an 11 and gives me extra toe box room. My heel still fits properly even with it running a little longer for a 10.5. My recommendation is to stick with your normal size if you like a little extra toe box room. If you like your toe to be closer to the front of the shoe, then go a half size down on your normal boot size. I’m grateful for the side zipper on these tall boots. The laces are long enough, I know some reviews said they weren’t. I had no problem lacing up all the way. The laces are thin though and will probably get thicker ones in the future. These boots look terrific with my 5.11 Tactical pants as a police officer. I did swap out the insoles and put in my New Balance sneaker soles and now they are SO comfy inside these boots. Read more

Worth every penny. I had my other pair for years and actually bought them second hand from someone who only wore them once or twice. They’re the best field boots i’ve ever owned. They really just get better with time. Full ankle support, I can’t tell you how many times these boots saved me from a rolled ankle. They shine up nice and are really comfortable. These feel and look great! There is, of course, a break in period to get through but once they are broken in, they are pretty comfortable. Reason why these aren't 5 stars for me is because I ended up having to replace the laces. The laces were too small to hold tension when lacing the shoe up for wear and gave my fingers blisters when trying to tie it tight. Since the laces couldn't hold the tension, I couldn't get the laces to go through all of the eyelets. With different laces, they are amazing otherwise! Read more

These are women’s boots. Right out of the box they were comfortable. They do tend to run a little large, but that’s typical for Rockies. My only complaint is that the laces aren’t long enough, but that’s very minor. Read more

So I adore this boots! I have been complimented a lot on them. The very first day they will hurt until you break them in. I took some precautions: 1. Bought me heavy duty insoles (I work in a warehouse and wanted my boots to look fancy cuz why not) but a woman has to be comfy too. 2. I loosened the laces to the max I dont have the cord go thought the top holes so the boots are not as tight. This has worked for me. Enjoy! Read more

The buttons over the zipper have never lined up properly despite this item being broken in, the zippers won't stay fully zipped due to the buttons and the laces won't stay tied because they are too stiff don't waste your money these boots are junk. Read more
