I tried different eye drops over the years. The work getting the red out, but that was just about it. This stuff moisturizes and feels so refreshing. For those who thought their eyes were stinging, that was was just the icy feel, which surprises your eyes for a few seconds. But Wow. Cant use any other brand once I was introduced to this brand years ago. I usually use the Rhoto eyedrops in the blue package but figured I'd branch out and try these. With these (versus the blue ones) I don't feel as much of that "cooling" effect that I am obsessed with but this works just as well for redness. I always use eyedrops in the morning because my eyes tend to be dry and red upon waking up so these do the trick. Redness relief lasts pretty long, too. I just love that intense "icy" feeling that the blue packaged Rhoto drops gave me..always helped wake me up!!! So, if you're looking for that "icy" feeling that the blue ones give you, maybe don't get these..? But if that icy feeling is too intense then these are definitely the eyedrops for you! I bought these because a couple of You-tubers I follow had commented on them. First off, I think these are incredibly refreshing. They almost feel like they have been refrigerated (seriously!). Instantly cooling and soothing to the eyes. And although I think all eye drops have a lubricating quality, I think these have a bit more slip to them without making my eyes feel like there is a film on them. However I do not think that they alleviate redness any faster, or for any longer period of time than my other "go-to" eye drops, which are these guys: Bausch & Lomb Advanced Eye Relief Instant Redness Reliever, 0.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 4) . Since the B&L ones are significantly less expensive, I will probably stick with those. So, even though I think these are the bomb I don't think I will repurchase. Read more

The moment you put it on your eyes it feels great. It feels Similar to putting a mint in your mouth. I've used almost all the leading brands like visine and clear eyes; they all pale in comparison to Rohto cool. Rohto has this version and an advanced version. The regular version of Rohto is better than both the advanced version's of Clear Eyes and Visine. Rohto cool works faster and lasts longer. Read more

The blue Rhoto drops work way better at reducing eye redness, though the blue ones burn like heck and these green ones just cool - maybe they are meant for different purposes. I wanted them to reduce redness, which I think the blue Rohto drops work better at. Read more

Once you get used to the blast of icy mint that washes over your eyeballs the first several times you use this, the product is great. Super refreshing and really does offer relief to strained or dry eyes. I stare at a computer all day and kick up dirt while I run- these eyedrops are relieving after both strain and dust. Read more
