Bought this for a friends’ 50th b’day gift as he really loves cello’s and other musical instruments. He mentioned it wasn’t too difficult to assemble even though he was very careful and took his time. The design of the piece seemed great for his apartment located near the ocean. Great puzzle. It is both beautiful and frustrating. Got this as a gift for my 69 y/o father who was recovering from back surgery and loves puzzles. He was excited by the prospect of putting it together. But, It is mot for those who do not have nimble fingers or great vision. The pieces are incredibly small and so are the instructions. He has already broken some of the pieces but they are laser cut so there may be no replacing them. He is currently working on making sure the celo bow moves. Extremely well made! They should get 10 stars. A number of extra parts in case you break one of the fragile ones. I needed them for the cello body. Very fragile and break easy. BUT a good idea I'd forgotten about. Woodworkers steam wood to make it easier to bend without breaking. I have a humidifier putting out a lot of mist. Held the body side in the mist for a few moments. Made it very easy to bend without breaking. Did have a bit of trouble with gears binding, but this was the first model from them and it was not there fault. Was so impressed with the quality and very clear instructions. Read more
