I wanted to replace my old 32 inch TCL Roku TV in my workout room. I had to crank the sound up to 50 volume to hear it while using my elliptical machine. This 40 inch Roku brand had great sound that can I can hear at 20 volume. The screen size fit well on the shelf. It was very functional with a good picture quality. It seems durable and am very happy with my purchase. I have been using Roku players and remotes so was familiar with the features and format. It was easy to set up using my Roku account. I love how I can rearrange my apps on the home page to my preference. The best feature is being able to adjust settings using the asterisk on the remote. My other TVs with Roku remotes didn't have that function available. I can change my sound settings to dialogue to hear speech better or adjust the picture settings. Read more

Basically a good investment, I found only three issues (so far) that were lest than desirable - I primarily watch programing via an antenna, the device allows me to watch for a time but seems to like returning me to the main page after a time - why? / maybe I am suppose to do something with the remote to let it know that I did die while watching tv? The second issue again deals with the antenna and signal loss in storms / I was able to turn the power on but the smart tv didn't detect a wifi signal, and it wouldn't allow me to go to antenna viewing until the storm passed and the wifi was back - it kind of makes me question the need / value of the tv at that moment. I made the expense so I won't be throwing the tv out but I likely won't go out of my way to buy another. Channel changing is a little slow but not an overly a big deal it is just the way it is. Picture quality is good - brightness - entertainment value satisfactory related to the cost. The only other thing I noted is when I mounted the tv on a pivot stand access to the threaded coax cable was a bit snug to get my hand in to connect the cable - the design places the male connection in the center under a small cut out and makes for a somewhat problematic mating of the two ends at least for my hands - relocating the connection would have been more helpful - set up was easy the remote is streamline and clean mostly easy to access though I have unintentionally pressed buttons I hadn't meant to. Thus ROKU TV is the best one I have purchased. It is a 40” screen which is used in our outdoor screened room and perfect for the area. It is fast to set up and the picture quality is excellent. I’m comes preloaded with many Apps we use and easy to upload the Apps we use that are not preloaded. Great quality! We bought this on prime day and its so lightweight, easy to setup, and clear picture. The kickstand legs were fine but we needed something a little taller and higher up so I got a different stand off amazon which was prefect for the spot we needed the TV.
