This is my second Roku device. I've had other brands, but prefer the interface on Roku. It's clean, uncluttered, and not filled with ads and revenue generating garbage that you have to sift through to get to what you want (like with Amazon's Firesticks). You're able to sort the apps/subscriptions according to your preferences. It's easy to install, small in size, and I never have issues with buffering or dropped logins. The quality is excellent, and lasts a long time, as does the battery life for the companion remote. Read more

THIS WORKS GREAT! easy to set up. It includes batteries in the remote. I use this with an OLDER Samsung 32" smart TV. It increased the quality of my picture. This unit is compact. (My TV is not 4K). It boots up quickly. It works well when I mirror my android cell phone to the TV through the ROKU. I would purchase again. I really like the ROKU user interface. I connected to my WIFI with no issues. I have had no trouble with streaming. It all works! I have a 300 MBPS internet connection. (I have another ROKU stick that works on a 40 MBPS DSL internet service.) Read more

Easy set-up. Way more intuitive remote than my Apple, and works great. No issues with streaming quality or any buffering. I’ll miss my Apple TV (the hardware) but I wasn’t willing to pay for a new one when it was deemed "too old" to get Disney. I got this because it’s compatible with Apple TV (the channel/,makes the transition less jarring. It also has a lot of free channels and is WAY less expensive. Read more

Easy to plug in and set up, the remote works with my soundbar -- for the most part (controls the volume, not the power), and compatible with the TV's USB port so no need for another block. High quality product and remote, which doesn't feel like it'll break when it falls. It's not as easy to cast as a Chromecast is, but certainly I prefer it to every device I've used so far. I've also found the device streams very well, with minimal buffering. Read more

The old Roku is over 10 years old and it has been glitching pretty bad. Did some testing and I thought it was my TV that is going out but that wasn't the case when I tested it with another Roku I took from my bedroom. How technology has advanced so much in these little devices. Set up was easy and within 20 minutes. My living room TV is back online streaming movies and videos again. This Roku is 4K/HDR pairs up with the TV perfectly. Again great little devices for those who loves to stream movies and watch TV. Read more

We decided to buy it because our TV is old and was a bit slow to connect to Wi-Fi. It was a great decision because it works perfectly and is very easy to set up. Plus, you can turn the TV on and off using the Roku remote. It also provides a very sharp picture, and it's affordably priced. Read more
