Our dogs love these little motorized balls, they are big enough for our 120 pound dog to play with but small enough for our medium sized dog as well. Not sure of the material as far as safety wise but our dogs aren't super chewers either, they do hold them in their mouths and play with them for long periods though. It's a fast little ball but not to fast for our lazy dog, they enjoy it and it appears fun for them. It's lasted for quite a while so I'd say it's pretty durable, a hard plastic which does come apart on it's own from time to time which could be a safety issue if your not watching your dogs play with them. Not sure how it unscrews while they are playing with it but it's happened more than once, so beware cause the inside unit is small and removable. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've ordered this yellow automatic ball twice first time it worked great for about 2 weeks then after charging it one day the inner mechanics stopped working. The ball would flash in crazy mode or normal but no longer rolled around on its own. Amazon sent me a replacement, I charged it fully, went to put it together and the same thing happened rolled around for about an hour this time out of its 4hr lifespan like the product says then stopped rolling. I've tried shutting down for hours and retrying, recharging and starting it again; nothing gets the parts to roll again. Very disappointed my dog loved the ball definitely recommended a rolling ball but not from this brand ☹️ Read more

Dog loved this one, compared to another similar ball, but it broke in 2.5 weeks. The dog (~20 lbs) played with it normally, however the internal plastic seat for the mechanical part broke off (fatigue or stress?) and that was a key part of the toy’s design and functionality. I bought a second one (because the dog misses this toy) so we will see how long this next one lasts. Read more

When it turns on it runs for about 30 seconds. Turns off for about 3 minutes. My dog is across the room when it turns on. By the time he gets to the ball it is already about to shut off. It is also rock hard. Not made for hard floors such as wood or linoleum. Read more
