Yes, it is worth the money if used with care.
Substantial and well-engineered knife sharpening system. Using the sharpening and finishing stones (as well as the leather strop) one can produce a keen edge on working knives as well as kitchen carving knives in no time. The strong magnetic block allows starting blade sharpening angles of 15, 18, 20 & 22 degrees. Best for straight blade knives but with care, touch-ups of one side of a hollow grind serrated blade is possible. I was able to noticeably improve the performance of a folding tactical knife with tanto blade, but it took time because of the unique configuration. Be careful! The knife blade is exposed while sharpening and it is advisable to use butcher gloves for safety. Obviously, children should not be allowed near the workspace unless carefully supervised. The instructions do a reasonable job of informing the new user of the sharpening system. Read more

I have to say I was reluctant to purchase this one everybody is saying no get the one from Germany the original especially the latest one at a price of over $300 This for $147 I believe, I get the diamond wheel 360 a ceramic at 600 a 1000 a 3000 and a 6000 stone wheel. and 4 angles. And a leather strop The German one NO just 2 wheels and 2 angles no strop My knives are razor sharp my knives are henkle pros about $150 each. This product preformed flawlessly and still going and you can buy additional wheels if you wish In conclusion save your money and buy this product you will not regret it. But stay away from all the others except the German one. This thing is great for larger knives.
This works great for my santouku but is tough to use on my fillet knife due to the narrow width of the blade. All in all I love this thing worth the money. Gets my knife very sharp in the most efficient way. Read more
