This is the best cross body purse ever! I bought one exactly like this 3 or 4 years ago and loved it. I was sad when it started to wear because I was not sure if I could find it on Amazon again. But, sure enough, it is still available. But, this one is even better, as the leather is not shiny. I love all the zippers and pouches. Just received my purse! I chose the burgundy. Given others comments about the odor, I was worried -- but I need not have been! All I could smell was the wonderful odor of leather -- nothing over powering at all. The back of the purse has two deep pockets, one zippered; the other not. Either would fit my rather large phone just fine (It's 3.5 x 6") -- wonderful! The zippers are all good quality, smooth-opening with strong, attractive pulls. The pockets on the front are all as deep as the purse is long -- not short useless 2-3" pockets! The organizer pocket on the front has three mini-pockets for credit cards -- each is cut generously so I have 3-4 cards in each slot. There isn't really a place for coins or cash, so I'm using one of the other front pockets for cash and will carry a separate coin purse -- I still use cash on occasion! The strap is quality and very long -- it's leather, not "pleather" or some other synthetic; I'm 5'6" and will wear it cross-body with easy. I will likely buy another of these purses in another color -- really a quality purse at an amazing price! I feel like I've been freed from lugging my heavy, larger leather purse around! Read more

allowed me to have 1 purse for motorcycle & everyday because all the pockets organize everything very well & still keep a low enough profile to wear it on my hip on the backseat of our 'cycle (a lil bigger than i'm used to there but a good trade off to not forget my license & such that i left in my "other" purse.) first ordered black (boring), then burgundy from vinebranch: black smelled of delicious new fresh leather, burgundy had mildew-esque flavor described in other reviews but could be a smelly color dye so i ordered another burgundy from silverhook- that one lacked any smell actually, but the grain was a lil smoother/more appealing- twas the winner even though it may have been returned because it did not have the leather sample/tag nor strap wrapped in paper as the other two did. (update- didn't notice stitching was coming out near zipper & on strap, p&p was final purchase- 2nd update- lining has frayed on 2 pockets from taking phone & wallet in/out, but i do have it pretty packed also. found 2 horizontal designs that work a little better for my hip wearing.) my (non-cased) note 3 fits in top two pockets if i want it zipped in, or in back slip phone pocket if i don't mind it sticking out the top an inch (won't fit a phone any wider.) lowdown on how much this can hold~ in bottom front pocket: window pocket license/insurance/registration & spare key, credit cards in 3 slots, 3 small lip balms/chapstix, mini pillbox/mints- next pocket up: mini mag flashlight, emergency earplugs, lots of hairsocks & ties- next is phone & reading glasses- top is a couple of small pill tins, checkbook & tampon case (and if i take those out i can even fit my lil SIG .380 with slim holster in there- only pocket wide enough to do that)- back change purse, nail clipper & cuticle nippers, safety pins. so in other words~ it can fit a whole lot & still not be a super heavy bag! is it wrong of me that i wish it had just one more usual tiny liner pocket typical of inside a purse? lol, perhaps but it would have come in handy for a couple smaller items instead of fishing down to the bottom. my other BIG "wish" was that the strap clipped on like some of the similar bags i ordered- would have made my life easier configuring to fashion it to switch between hip & shoulder wear~ this is a pretty good bag though. my hip fix: to leave rings attached to strap, detach strap tabs at seams & add lobster clips, sewing required but easy enough Read more

The strap on my favorite travel purse finally gave up the ghost after years of faithful service, so I was searching for something to replace it. I was a little iffy about the style and smaller size of this one but the price was very reasonable, so I decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. I'm glad I did. I LOVE it. The wine color is a pretty deep burgandy, and it has everything I was looking for in a "trip purse." It's lightweight, well made, and small enough to be comfortable worn crossbody but big enough to hold the necessities. I really like the convenience of the card and ID slots in the small front zipper pocket. One of the outside zippered pockets is perfect for a passport, tickets, brochures, or other documents you need easy access to, and my smart phone (in a case with a pop socket attached) fits securely in the open back pocket. I was amazed at how much would fit in this little thing that's not much bigger than a half sheet of printer paper - it's like Mary Poppins' magic carpet bag. A small wallet, keys, glasses, small pill case, ear buds, portable charger, folding hairbrush, travel size hand sanitizer, and lip balm fit in the other zipper sections with plenty of room to spare. It is so soft, and for genuine leather it is priced very low. I bought the Burgundy one and the color is so rich. I absolutely love this bag. It is very beautiful, and can be worn as a cross body bag, or you could leave the strap short and wear it over your'e shoulder. Some reviews mentioned a strong odor. I was hesitant to purchase this because of those reviews, but I am so glad I did. The only odor was the faint smell of leather, not very shocking considering it is leather. I don't know about the other color options though. They may come from a different supplier, but the burgundy one I received had no odor. Also the size is large enough to carry all of my essentials, but small enough to not weigh me down. I hate large purses. I recommend this to everyone who wants a beautiful, perfectly sized bad.
