Comfortable, Heated, and Worth Every Penny

VineDecember 19, 2025

I wasn’t sure if this was just a trendy buy, but I caved after seeing so many parents using them in the stadiums. I’m glad I did. This seat is genuinely comfortable and surprisingly well-built. The padding is thick, the heating levels are just right, and the multiple recline positions let me shift around. We’ve used it in all kinds of weather and I love that it’s lightweight but still feels durable. The only thing I would tweak is the instructions—they were vague when I first opened the box, but luckily setup is intuitive. Also, don’t forget you’ll need your own battery pack for the heat. It doesn't come with one, but once connected, the heat lasts for hours. I even lent it to my mom for a weekend at my kids karate tournament and she wouldn’t stop talking about how great it felt on her back. Whether you're a weekend warrior in the stands or just tired of shivering through games, this seat is 100% worth considering. Read more

Pros: So comfortable! Cons: clunky and big

Optimist PrimeDecember 29, 2025

These chairs are incredibly comfortable! I had been looking for a nice camping chair that I could sit outside on a hot day and take a nap when my tent gets too hot. You can definitely fall asleep in this chair! The footrest plus the head rest equals extreme camp comfort. The chair appears strong but did arrive with some damage. The foot rest slides into the bottom of the chair but when it's on its hard to get in and out of the chair. I would suggest only putting it in when you're sitting in the chair and then slide It off and store it in the special side pocket designated for this purpose. There is also a mesh pocket for small storage and a cup holder on the other side. My biggest gripe with the chair is that it's not really connected to itself. Its a hammock and depends on gravity to stay together. If the sun shifts and you need to move the chair, you have to be careful with how you handle it because it comes apart easily. Otherwise I love that it weighs about the same as other camping chairs but has so much more functionality. $130 for 2 hammock camping chairs is very reasonable considering how large they are. They are a bit clunky because they are larger and aren't really stuck together. There are 3 separate pieces that need to be connected everytime you set it up. So its OK ro you but not the same ease as a regular camping chair. Read more

Hammock Chairs

DanDecember 30, 2025

These are nice quality hammock chairs that feel sturdy and are pretty comfortable. I was briefly taken aback by small bends in the base of the chairs because they looked unintentional, but after some consideration I realized they are meant to help it fold properly. While assembling it, I was surprised that the plastic holders that connect the chair to the base rest in place without any clips, and I found it concerning. But, once the chair was assembled, I didn’t have any concerns of the chair being unstable while sitting in it, and I can’t imagine someone bouncing in such a way as to make it unsafe. The supports only come apart when you lift directly up on the chair, and that can’t happen while you’re sitting in it. The footrest clips in easily and works well. If I assembled correctly, the side with the metal bars faces up, which surprised me a little. It fits and holds in place well, though. The footrest along with the top of the chair have adjustable straps that help you tweak the sitting position and seem to stay in position all right once set. While I can get this chair to sit in a reasonably upright position, its strength is definitely in the ability to recline and swing. If you’re looking for that relaxing hammock dynamic in an easy to transport chair, then these are worth considering. Although, in regard to transport I should note that these are heavier than an average camping chair. The weight isn’t ridiculous, but carrying both chairs is a significant amount to lug around. Assembly does require a few steps, but it isn’t difficult. The chair has a base piece, the main chair piece, and the foot piece. Not a big deal to assemble and disassemble, but not a mindless unfolding either. Overall, I consider these hammock chairs a solid option. I’m no expert in hammock chairs, but I’ve seen options that appear lighter with thinner support that might be easier to work with on a regular basis. At the current price of $129.99, I consider these a good cost per chair and well worth considering when faced with more expensive alternatives. Read more
