It is brighter then we expected. Even though the LED strip is on the outside of it, it is not obnoxious and wouldn’t hurt your eyes. The light color (kelvins) is just perfect, a bit on the warmer side of the spectrum, but not too yellow. Installing was easy even on an angled sealing, it took a while to play around with the cables to make sure all three rings are set perpendicular to each other but it came pre wired and wasn’t tangled so it took our handy man 3 minutes for the actual install. I strongly recommend putting it on a dimmer, especially if it is in the bedroom like ours is because it can get too bright at night. Another reason for the dimmer is that at night, when dimmed, it would give a nice and cozy ambiance to the room which further can be helpful if you have small children and need to wake up during the night. The only thing that was a little disappointing straight out of the box was that it is plastic and looks a little cheap from close, but as soon as it’s installed on the sealing, it looks like metal and it doesn’t bother you at all. The media could not be loaded. This is one awesome modern design! Perfect for office or home office. It looks much more professional quality and great design in reality than any online pictures. Box came well packaged with company branded tape (it shows they care about brand value and packaging - unlike other cheap brands). Added pics, were taken during my installation. The light is beautiful and really bring 21st century feel to the room with its adjustable geometric design. However, it requires some work to level the frames. We try to do it beforehand hanging it to the ceiling and it is work! I would suggest it level it after you hang it as the wires can inserted to the grooves after the hang (contrary to our thinking). Lifting it to the ceiling and joining wire/putting screws requires at least two people. Also, if you have very low ceiling you might need to notch it up quite much. I really like this light. Love the style and it is plenty bright with a nice color spectrum. I originally rated this only 2 stars because the suspension wires were crossed up during factory assembly and I didn’t recognize the problem until after the light was installed. The seller didn’t hesitate to take care of the problem for me so I am upgrading to 4/5 because this is a great light and a very reasonable price. Mistakes do happen with any product so be smarter than me and do a quick inspection to make sure all is well BEFORE installing the light. Here’s a long-term review…I purchased the Royal Pearl Modern Foyer Chandelier (part number: AC14-S01-‎B01-116W) just over 4 years ago. That item includes 3 sizes of lights (small, medium, and large). In my unit, the medium-sized light stopped working by year 2. At first, it would light up most of the time and shut off randomly. It was annoying at that point but not worth the effort of buying new and installing another. But, over time, it got worse. Now the medium-sized light doesn’t light up at all. I finally sent an email to the manufacturer’s (a company in China) Support email address hoping that I could purchase a replacement for the defective item, instead of buying/reinstalling the entire unit. I received no response. I do expect a ceiling light to last longer than 2 years. My home is over 20 years old and the original lights installed are still going strong. So modern and BRIGHT! This is an amazing deal for the price. There was a small crystal chandelier here before which didn’t do with the vibe we were going for when remodeling so I ran across this and no complaints. Easy to install (a little heavy so careful) and super modern. And crazy bright. This would be awesome over a dining room table. Read more
