I normally buy Cafe La Llave coffee pods, but tried the Rosso Caffe Espresso for fun. Not only was it just as tasty as the La Llave coffee, the Rosso Caffe was significantly less costly. The pods worked perfectly and the brew was excellent. Five stars. Read more

These are my go-to espresso pods. The range of strengths is impressive, with the four providing a fruity, smooth, but well-rounded cup and the 10, the strongest I've tried, giving me a very robust pour perfect for really milky drinks. The value is also excellent, leading me to move entirely away from Keurig pods and using my Nespresso machine more. I've had absolutely no issues with the pods and they fit and work perfectly with my machine. Read more

I have increased my review from 3 based on the excellent customer service I received after submitting my initial review. All color/intensity are weak, requiring two capsules brewed at espresso level to create 1 decent LUNGO. Most of the coffees do not taste any better than grocery store coffees. By Color/Intensity: Blue/4 when brewed as lungo very weak and bitter (not fruity and delicate) Green/5 at LUNGO, no body, flavor no better than grocery store, flavor bitter, not "soft and balanced" as listed: Brown/6 at lungo, flavor is OK but not great - don't think it meets description of "rich and smooth", when brewed espresso, it results in OK espresso.; Gray/8: flavor no better than grocery store both LUNGO and espresso brews. Purple/9:Flavor cereal (not Fruity and strong as listed), Even at espresso brew - results more like a lungo. Black/10 described as round and full bodied, but definitely not full bodied. I basically have to brew to capsules of any color/intensity at espresso in order to get a decent lungo coffee. This results in cost/lungo near to the Nespresso supported Starbucks pods. Pods, however, do brew OK in my machine - no leakage etc. Read more

I have been using the nespresso pods for many years but the price is getting silly. The Rosso pods taste great and are a fraction of the cost. Read more

I've been using these since I got my Nespresso machine over a year ago. I've always had the same troubles other people describe where sometimes the plastic pods wouldn't perform correctly and you'd only get about half the liquid out that you're supposed to get. To remedy that, I'd typically just press the button again and fill up the cup more. Additionally, the espresso was okay, but not really good or great. But for the price, I always thought it was acceptable. The shipment I received this past week, they have switched to aluminum capsules so they function PERFECTLY in my Nespresso machine. And much to my surprise, the espresso actually tastes better, too. It has a stronger, bolder flavor that I would more typically expect with a handmade espresso (I order the "dark" variety so this is exactly what I'm going for). If you've tried this before but couldn't get past the plastic pod and weaker flavor, it's worth giving it a try again with these aluminum pods. Read more

I have purchased this coffees for over a year and I loved their flavour so much. At last I bought this ones. As they got cheaper, they also changed the design. At first i have tried nearly 10 coffees and I thought my coffee machine got broken. I was ready to spend money on new coffee machine then I thought of trying another brand. Well well well… the problem was with their design because the other coffee brand worked perfectly on my machine. Just because you make it cheaper, this mm change in design almost cost me $$$ on a new coffee machine. Please see the pictures, the one in blue capsule is their and the brown one is a well known brand. You guys need to fix your design or you will lose return customers and even the new ones. This is honestly unacceptable. Read more

Good Coffee, but some of the pods do not work! I had to throw away 20 of the pods! The "Purismo" pods barely spit out a few tablespoons of espresso. And I tried a bunch of them. By spit, I mean dribbling into the cup. I thew them all away. and the "Ricco" pods dribbled slowly, too, but ended up giving me a half a cup of espresso. I use a Nespresso Pixie machine. I will need to try another brand or just order the ones I know will work. Read more
