I am so very surprised with the quality of these lamps. They are beautiful, very heavy, easy to assemble, etc. I almost didn't make this purchase because of 2 things I read in other reviews, so I wanted to address those issues. 1. Yes, the shade comes rolled and requires assembly and has a velcro seam. Don't let this be a deal breaker. The shade looks much nicer than other inexpensive, more permanent shades. The seam is a little odd, but only if you place the lamp in the middle of a room. Otherwise, you won't notice it. Beautiful shade overall. 2. The frame of the shade DOES NOT stick up above the shade. The shade can only be assembled one way. If you do it backwards, it sticks up. Just a couple more things.. the color is very deep brass. There is nothing gold about these lamps. Also, one of my lamps had a silica packet shoved deep inside the bulb socket. Weird. Be careful. Overall, I am very happy with these lamps and will be buying more for my spare bedroom. Read more

Love my choice as I had been looking for tall bedside lamps with USB outlets. After reading review I was expecting the rolled up shades, which I had never encountered before, but they were easily assembled and looked great. Lamp base is quite heavy and sturdy and I love the accent stripe around the lamp shade. My ONLY complaint is that there should be a Right and Left lamp as generally if you purchase 2 lamps and intend to set in a bedroom or living room, you have a right side and a left side. The problem IMO is the USB outlet position. On the right nightstand outlet is positioned in the right direction BUT on the left nightstand, the outlet is positioned on the outside of the lamp base, so your cord will have to be inserted further away. This isn’t a deal breaker but just a design flaw. Haven’t quite figured out about the different light brightness option as when I turned the knob nothing happened, so will have to work on that. They have a nice height. 30” tall without a lot of width, helps make small end tables seem larger. Color is gold slightly brassy. Shades are thick and easy to assemble. Don’t really care for gold stripe around top and bottom of shade nor the white shade support brackets as they show when you are standing. (Maybe better in gold as well) I used my own bulbs so I can’t speak for their quality. I maybe buy another set for my guest room. Read more

I never write reviews. However, when I opened the box I was very disappointed about the lamp shades. I read comments after the purchase where people said that they just bought different lamp shades. I didn’t want to buy lamp shades. That’s why I got these because I liked the shades and it was a good deal. Upon opening the shades and putting them on the lamp rings provided. They look amazing. There is Velcro on both sides to make the seams flawless. They look like expensive bought shades. USB ports, different lighting options. These are amazing, especially for the price. Definitely a great purchase. I wanted to write the review in case some comments about the lamp shades had someone on the fence about making the purchase. Go for it!
