These are the cutest boots, and I got them for my daughter for horse camp over the summer. These are fashionable, but also functional, which is so nice. She's about the same size as me so I wore them around as well to really comment on them. I would say these run true to size, or maybe the tiniest bit big. I'm a 10 in tennis shoes, usually a 9 in casual shoes, and my toes are very comfortable in these. Even though they appear wide, though, and I've never needed wide shoes, I feel like they are super narrow on the ankle and balls of my foot. If riding it may be okay, but I really noticed it when walking around, especially with thicker socks on. My daughter has narrower feet and they don't bother her, but I would say make sure you try them on before wearing out. These are really great quality boots for the price. Very nice quality pair of boots. They're exactly what I'd expect that this price point and on par with the popular name-brand western boots. I could see these being hard to get on for people with wide feet or ankles though as the opening to the boot is quite narrow. My daughter is currently in a Big Kids Size 3 shoe and the size 7 almost fits her, so she'll be ready to wear these next year. She doesn't have a problem with the size of the boot shaft but she's only 7 with small feet/ankles. As with most boots, I would suggest sizing up a size and double checking measurements. These boots are adorable and the quality is great. Unfortunately they do not fit. I sized up 1.5 sizes and my heel cannot even think about getting through the opening. I do have stout ankles, but my dainty-ankled friend had the same issue, as it's not the ankle that's the issue but the heel. I only have the one pair to try, but in my experience this issue is common when the shaft pattern does not go up in size appropriately with the rest of the boot. Very bummed out as they are absolutely adorable and I was so excited to wear them. If they were leather I'd just stretch them but these are man-made material so not sure if there's anything I can do to make them wearable. If you don't usually have fit issues you might be okay... if you run into issues with fixed strap sandals, no-zip boots and shoes, etc, you will probably be better off buying some in person. I recently got an urge to start line dancing or at least learn how to line dance. These boots are the perfect accessory for hitting the ole pine. The stitching is well done and much better quality than I expected. The sole is tightly fastened to the boot and the tread is good enough for any terrain. The color options are my favorite part of these boots. They are extremely cute and looks great. As with most boots you need to wear them for 10-20 hours to break them in. Sometimes longer.
