Love the new table, the only reason for the 4 stars is that under the lip of side it is slightly damaged so I will have to sand and touch up with a matching stain .... not worth returning it for that, easy to assemble and for now I have 4 chairs but will buy the 2 captain chairs eventually so it does fit 6 easily .... I’m very unhappy with my table. The finish is cheap and will splinter and fade on the top. And the seam collects crumbs . Not happy at all. Read more

I, and my family plus everyone that's come over for dinner, LOVE this table. The only problem is that it arrived damaged, which likely occurred during shipping. The corner is dented/damaged and there is a dent on the surface of the table. Otherwise, this is a beautiful, sturdy table with timeless charm that can mix with nearly any style and design. It cleans easily and doesn't scratch easily during normal use. The biggest problem is that there's no one to contact regarding the damaged durring shipping unless I am willing to send it back (via Amazon), which I'm not. The damage isn't enough for me to go through the trouble of repackaging and shipping this very large and very heavy table. So, I feel slightly let down that it's damaged, but still overall smile when I look at my dining room. Read more
